Absolutely wonderful stay at Hotel Bonotto! I stayed on the fourth floor in a room with stunning lake views. The room was very well appointed, with comfortable twin beds, a nice bathroom with shower and a balcony which was a real highlight, offering beautiful views over the town and lake. Breakfast was a continental spread, plentiful and delicious. What sets this hotel apart is the wonderful staff. Throughout our stay, the staff went out of their way to help – arranging taxis & giving advice on buses to the airport, offering advice on towns to visit around the lake, giving us a plug adapter etc. Overall, a 10/10 experience. Fantastic stay – I’ll definitely be recommending Hotel Bonotto to everyone visiting Lake Garda!

Other than being a bit noisy and the curtains not being blackout I think this turned out to be a great hotel. There is only one staff member working reception and bar so don't expect anything special or fast there. The room was really clean, air con wasn't too intrusive, balcony did slope but totally fine, bed was comfy. We used the terrace multiple times including renting it one evening, it was lovely.

Fantastic hotel, from the moment we arrived we were greeted by friendly helpful staff. The reception area was pristine. We had arrived late in the evening but check in was fast. There is a lift in the building to all the floors. Our room was spacious and very clean. The breakfast was fantastic with hot and cold food, breakfast was from 7 am to 10 am so no need to rush. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The location is great as it’s in the centre of town but was also very quiet. The bed was very comfortable. The staff were always on hand if needed and was knowledgeable about restaurants and things to do in the town and the local area. We are already planning our next holiday and will stay in Hotel Bonotto, highly recommend.

Near the lake for beach and ferry

Amazing hotel, very clean and in a great location, walking distance to everything. Amazing rooftop with hot tub and lovely views when having breakfast. Manuel the manager was amazing at looking after us whenever we needed anything. Highly recommend

Lovely little hotel and convenient for the ferry and buses

Friendly staff. Parking is at a nearby garage, you pay the hotel and they give you a card that lets you drive in and out of the garage as often as you like. Good breakfast (much better than most in Europe) on the rooftop. So nice morning view across the lake. Desenzano de Garda was a pleasant surprise. A very nice town with lots of places to eat, drink, shop or just walk around.

This hotel is immaculately clean The location is excellent , just a shirt stroll to the centre of town but very quiet. Large rooms with a balcony(you pay a little more but worth it)

I had a lake view and views of the castle but this means overlooking a busy road too. The breakfast room is a lovely rooftop terrace which an incredible view.

The hotel is in a quiet but convenient location. Breakfast was good and the views from the rooftop are fantastic.

Excellent location. 10 mins walk to pier. Or 25 mins walk to train station. Mini supermarket nearby. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Lovely view in the breakfast area. Good variety of breakfast.

An ok place! It’s very clean and tidy, if a little dated. The car park is underground and is an extra €10 per night per car.
