perfect for a trip to trolltunga as they arrange shuttles, the mattress was a bit weird otherwise all good

Beautiful location!!

This hotel was perfect for our situation, driving through the beautiful Norway countryside. The room was excellent, and the restaurant was awesome! I would highly recommend this property.

Simple basic

We had a great stay at the Trolltunga Hotel. Check in was easy (our room was ready early), and the hotel is well appointed and comfortable. There is a bar at the check in counter, as well as an outdoor balcony with seating overlooking the fjord. There is also a spacious full-service restaurant on the bottom level with a great breakfast buffet. The room itself was exactly what we needed for one night before our Trolltunga hike. It was clean and comfortable. The hotel also allowed us to store our bags and pick them up after our hike. There was also a great hiking loop right near the hotel. And the information sessions the night before the Trolltunga hikes are held every night in the hotel lobby, which was very convenient. The Odda buss and taxi stop for Trolltunag are conveniently located. We would definitely recommend staying here before your Trolltunga hike!

This hotel is great especially if you are planning on staying the night before hiking away in the mountains. It was easy to find and priced well for the area and country. We were in one of the older rooms and everything was clean and tidy. One thing that was downside is that the bathroom was all tile and you showered on the same floor with no separation to where the toilet and sink were. This was not a big deal but might be challenging for some. The staff is very friendly and easy to reach through the front desk.

Wonderful location and low-key, friendly, backpacker vibe. Worth knowing that petit double rooms are *tiny* and wifi is not reliable throughout the hotel - should really be upgraded.

We stayed at the hotel going on a Trolltunga hike next morning . I was pleasantly surprised with renovated hotel stay , fantastic dinner , amazing views from the hotel and a good breakfast. Did would come back .

Would have liked the restaurant to be open on Mondays as well. Other than that, is a great hotel in a beautiful location.

Clean and updated rooms. Great scenery from every side. Great location by lake and near a walking path. Good breakfast!

Great hotel and staff in idyllic setting.

Trolltunga Hotel was the perfect place to stay before our hiking excursions with Trolltunga Active the next day. We met with a guide that evening at the hotel for an information meeting. We had a spectacular view of the lake and mountains from our room.

Beautiful setting and close to Trolltunga. Beds were comfy, staff was friendly and breakfast was fantastic!

This hotel is nestled right next to the rapids leaving Lake Sandvinvadnet leading into Hardangerfjord in the pretty little town of Odda. The dining options in the hotel are outstanding - the views from the rooms, the restaurant and the patio are breathtaking. Even if you’re not doing a hike to Trolltunga or to the glacier - this place is worth the stay.

Excellent hotel and well suited for us because we did a guided trip with Trolltunga Active. Breakfast was good and convenient. Not much other facilities to speak of. Rooms are clean and simple.
