As other reviews have shared, the check-in process can be annoying. The sign posted outside is that if you arrive before check-in time at 1pm, you can call reception or a phone number for luggage storage with the concierge. We were unable to get a hold of anybody at reception, and we noticed other guests outside with their luggage as well.
Once we did get checked-in and access to our room, the stay was great. It was a spacious apartment with 2 bedrooms, bathroom, living area, and fully furnished kitchen. The kitchen was great, as we had a fridge, microwave, and stove for serving and reheating takeaway. The window blinds can completely blackout, which was great for sleeping when our young child was recovering from jetlag.
The location is convenient to multiple metro stops, and within walking distance to Sagrada Familia, Parc de les Glories, and Eixample.
It is not a hotel in the traditional sense with 24-hour front desk, toiletries, restaurant or amenities, but if you are looking for a good homeaway for your stay in Barcelona, it is very hard to beat this value.
