The staff were amazing. We were allowed in early check-in since our room was ready. The staff, the grounds, the location we're all wonderful. They have an ice machine with a filtered water station right next to it. Which was extremely convenient. The front office was available to help with tours and shuttles. The breakfast was very good for a free breakfast. Our small room only had 2 outlets, which made charging devices a little challenging. We had a ground level floor and could hear a lot from the rooms above us. Also, the laundry service was very expensive, so we chose to do it elsewhere. They had no pool but you can use the pool at their sister hotel Poco a poco.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel for three nights. The location is excellent and very convenient. The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and always willing to help. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained throughout our stay. A special mention goes to the on-site restaurant, which was outstanding. We enjoyed dinner there every night during our stay because the food was consistently excellent. The chocolate ice cream was especially memorable—rich, unique, and absolutely delicious. The waiter and waitress who served us each evening provided exceptional service. They were attentive, welcoming, and made every dining experience enjoyable. Overall, we loved our stay and would gladly return. Highly recommended!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Monteverde Country Lodge. The room was quite spacious with two beds, a bathroom with a great shower, and a TV---and was a short walk to the restaurant and front reception area. Melissa greeted us warmly and answered all our needs. The free breakfast was the best of our entire trip---excellent and helpful waitstaff and many wonderful choices: eggs, pancakes, toast with outstanding fruit jam, fresh fruit, coffee, tea, cereals, ham. The grounds are lovely with nice plantings. All in all, it felt quite luxurious.

Clean room and friendly staff.

Good breakfast and nice clean rooms but has no view at all. We stayed just for a day so it worked for us.

Staff was wonderful, as was the restaurant and breakfast. However, there was no pool as advertised in expedia. We were told we could take a shuttle to a nearby hotel for a pool. We also had many scorpions falling from a hole in the ceiling into our bed at night, which was quite unsettling. No hot water.

Really helpful staff. The restaurant has really good food and breakfast. The gardens are beautiful. I wish I stayed a few more nights.

Old fashioned style resort. It was clean with nice amenities.

The hotel is located in an area that tends to be very windy in January, leading to noise and cold nights.

Super comfortable rooms and lodging. Loved the grounds of this place with flora and beautiful outdoor and indoor spots to lounge in. Staff was very friendly and helpful especially booking tours and transport thru WhatsApp which was very efficient.

We like this hotel very much. It has a very beautiful garden and friendly staff. The building is a natural wooden structure. The room is clean and large. The only thing is that the sound insulation is not very good. The breakfast buffet is very good and delicious.

Clean rooms and property. Healthy and fresh food options available for breakfast. Melissa at reception was very resourceful and suggested, arranged trips for us, which turned out to be great experiences. Warm and friendly staff.

The staff was great. They helped us by taking our suitcases to the room and made us feel very comfortable.

Was expecting a pool. Nothing to do here. Thank goodness there was tv with Netflix
