Stayed for boxing at Ipswich

All aspects of the hotel were very good only spoilt by other loud guests in the restaurant using profanity and inappropriate language. We’ve stayed a number of times in the past and always had a good experience. Food is good and staff friendly.

Overall good property but definitely needs a major renovation as a lot of the fixtures and fittings are outdated. Pleased to discover that the EV chargers were free of charge! Breakfast was 10/10.

It was a very comfortable and spacious bed, and quiet place to rest

Even though was self check in, the lady greeted me and did it for me which was a little odd but very nice all the same! Generally nice stay for one night, good facilities and bed was comfortable which is all that you want.

Didn't expect much after staying in Best Western in Webbington last year & reading a couple of reviews about the Ipswich branch. We were pleasantly surprised. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was simple but tasty and staff were very friendly and efficient. I was really pleased with the stay, and would book again.

Very relaxing stay. Slight problems on second morning early being woken by bubbling from bathroom. Toilet seat became unhinged. Fire exit plan inside door was upside down which could be confusing Four language fire instructions are all ver good, but not if the secions completed by staff are all in English.

The hotel was good value for money. The room was nicely furnished with a comfortable bed and the bathroom was clean. The tv in the room had Netflix which was a bonus. Although the evening meal menu was basic the breakfast was good. The staff were very friendly. The hotel is currently undergoing improvements so some of the facilities such as spa room were not available. Would stay here again.

Staff were lovely, breakfast food was tasty and hot. Grounds were nice and well kept. Clean in main areas of hotel. Spa and pool areas out of use for refurbishing - wish hotels.com had that listed as I would’ve picked another hotel. In the room however…. Mattresses were rock hard, very uncomfortable as well as the ‘double’ being two singles put together. Cracks in the tiles on the floor in bathroom, no main bedroom light only wall sconces so room was quite dimly lit. Couldn’t use dressing table area so used bathroom instead as it was brighter. Bath tub is a short one so if you’re tall forget it as your legs will be up the wall! Overall score a 5 out of 10

Great service and communication.

Bed was 2 single mattresses on one base. very uncomfortable if lying in middle.

Liked that I was upgraded to a downstairs junior suite when the receptionist realised I used a stick. Didn’t like that there was no phone in the room so when room service which was ordered for 6.30 had not arrived by 7 I had to walk back to reception. It finally arrived T 7.30pm. Also no hot water in the morning

Nice Two night stay excellent value for money very friendly staff.

Hotel nice but very dated. Food was lovely and parking was great. Rooms need updating as feel old but can see knce was a nice hotel.

Can’t believe how happy and polite and helpful the ladies were. So looking forward to staying there again.

A lot of business people use this hotel in the week due it’s convenient location & reasonable pricing

Unfortunately I chose this hotel in part due to the advertised spa and did not notice the smallprint mentioning (despite publicizing how good the spar was) that the spa was closed for renovation. Otherwise I had a good stay.
