Disappointed in restaurant service, improved for a coach trip, but then too busy, so we had dinner else where.

Great stay, adequate for what was needed. Deluxe room but needed a bit of attention

We stayed in the Premier Double Room. The hotel is overrated and overpriced. Its bleak and in poor condition. Having traveled extensively, and I can honestly say I’ve never stayed in a hotel in such poor condition. It may have been a five-star hotel in its prime, but now I would rate it as barely a three-star. Its desperately in need of some form of renovation. Check-in was quick, but we weren’t informed about the hotel’s facilities, such as, the WiFi password, which floor the breakfast was served on or what amenities were included in our stay, like the pool, jacuzzi, or steam room. Unfortunately, the sauna was out of order. The junior staff during breakfast seemed more interested in chatting among themselves than attending to guests. I observed a waitress wipe down a table with a napkin and then place it back on the table with the cutlery on top. On a positive note, I enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi, and the views of the golf course were stunning. It appears more resources are allocated to maintaining the golf course, leading to neglect of the hotel itself.

Just stayed there one night. Think we received a very reasonable rate because it was a monday night and the golfers had not arrive for the week as yet. Tried to get another night and they were booked solid. Very nice motel with pool and ammenities. Hit some golf balls at the attache driving range. Restaruant and bar were excellent. Seems like this is geared to golfers.

We were there for an overnight stay, as we were attending a wedding reception nearby. Lovely setting, friendly staff and nice and clean.

The only downside was the quality of food in the restaurant. Very poor choices and very bland.

Bar staff were awful... Couldnt run a bath...

The staff were very helpful & obliging. The reception area and the corridor’s need an upgrade, the reception area was bare and not welcoming. The room was clean and had a lovely view of the golf course. The only thing we noticed was the entrance to the bathroom needed attention. The water from the shower (we had an accessible bathroom) had rotted the doorway and the bottom of the door. This said, we would stay at Ufford Park hotel again.

Disappointedly terrible service. Staff were untrained, disorganised and poorly managed. Had to clear a table ourselves to be able to sit down. Breakfast buffet was almost empty and never topped up. Found part of a brillo cleaning pad in my food. I and several other guests are waiting for a response from the hotel's management. It's been over a week and nothing but a generic "we've passed your message to the department" so far. Looks great online, but best avoided in person.

Hotel and grounds were nice, rooms were dated, food was amazing, staff a bit slow

Everything great however very dated

We had an issue with the shower which did not work and when we contacted reception in the evening there was no one and our phone didn’t work so we tried to contact the hotel on our mobiles but no one picked up. The reception staff in the morning were very helpful and got the maintenance team to fix the shower whilst we had breakfast. We were given a complimentary afternoon tea for the inconvenience. The receptionist (blonde lady) was amazing and really helpful. Overall we had a lovely stay, and would come back again.

The room was very good looking out the the golf course

Lovely room in a great location. Didn't realise breakfast was thrown in too so that was a bonus! Staff very helpful too.

I was ill on the last day at the hotel with my IBS and the hotel allowed me to stay in my room until lunchtime to get well enough to leave free of charge. I felt that showed a compassionate and caring establishment for which my husband and I were very grateful. We had a very enjoyable stay and would highly recommend the Ufford Park.
