From Check in to Check out, everything was amazing. Staff were very polite, helpful and welcoming. We paid half board and have no complaints with the food service, lots of options and different cultural food on the menu. Staff were also amazing and very efficient whilst dining. The rooms were cleaned everyday and again Staff were very pleasant and ensured the service was excellent. We changed hotel last minute from H10 to Hotel Belvedere and we are glad we did. The hotel had everything you needed, great entertainment, pool, gym, sauna, steam room and spa. We went as a couple and the hotel was busy full of groups and families making a great atmosphere for all. Would definitely recommend to anyone booking. We will certainly be back. To all the staff at Hotel Belvedere, Thank you for the best memories made in Salou.

The standout feature of this hotel is definitely the housekeeping. The entire property was incredibly clean. Our room was serviced every single morning without fail, meaning fresh towels and a tidy space to come back to after a long day out. Staff were all friendly and helpful. 🍽️ Food & Dining The food was exactly what you would expect from a standard 3-star establishment. It won't blow you away, but it was perfectly fine and we always found something decent to eat at every meal. The only real letdown in the restaurant was the dessert selection, which wasn't great. 🏊‍♂️ Pool & The Morning "Sunbed Race" The pool area itself is fantastic and a great place to spend the day. However, be prepared for the morning routine. The pool area opens at 10:00 AM, and every morning there was a sizable queue of guests waiting to dash in. People would immediately reserve the best loungers with their beach towels and then disappear, leaving them empty until the afternoon. It’s very frustrating if you want a sunlounger at the pool. We only spent one day at the pool because of this. Final Verdict: If you are looking for a clean, reliable, and well-located 3-star base in Salou, the Ohtel Belvedere is a great choice. Just set your expectations accordingly for the buffet desserts and be ready for the 10:00 AM sunbed rush!

A used sanitary product was found in our room when we arrived that was not ours, staff were made aware and could not have cared less which made us question the cleanliness of the room and whether the sheets had even been changed due to this and the thick layer of dust in the room Food was beyond poor we stopped eating from the hotel, staff would not let you into the dining area without a room card despite them having a sheet of room numbers and names, and the wristbands you are made to wear Internet had no connection Hotel also accepted 3 large groups of 40+ school kids during our stay which was extremely off putting Environment was chaotic, there were queues to get into the dining area and kids running riot every time you went in Storage in the rooms was also limited there was no where to put suitcases as they do not fit under the bed and rooms were extremely noisy (potentially due to the large groups of school kids)

Transport There is no free airport shuttle. The Plana bus runs from the airport to central points in Salou/Barcelona for €3.30, which is convenient but not clearly advertised by the hotel. They run at specific times. Check‑in Check‑in was more complicated than expected. Guests must show proof of booking if it was made through an agency, but this requirement wasn’t communicated beforehand. The process would have been smoother if the hotel had verified this prior to arrival. Room The room was a good size and included basic toiletries (hand wash, body wash, shampoo/conditioner). However, the floor wasn’t properly cleaned on arrival, though housekeeping resolved it when asked. The Wi‑Fi was unreliable, and the TV offered mostly Spanish channels with no option to connect personal devices. Noise was a persistent issue: housekeeping is loud between 10 am and 2 pm, and as a family hotel, there are frequent corridor noises from children and slamming doors. Restaurants The food was underwhelming. The buffet felt mass‑produced, with warm—not hot—dishes and limited variety. The live‑cooking station was the highlight, offering steak, fish, and chicken. Desserts were average. Location The strongest aspect of the hotel. It’s centrally located near shops, the beach, and the amusement park, with Reus Airport only about 15 minutes away. Would I return? Probably not. Although the late‑night activities seemed popular, the overall experience didn’t justify a repeat stay.

Recently renovated rooms have a clean and modern look. Overall cleaning around the hotel was excellent. Fantastic choice of food with great variety, freshly cooked eggs and omelettes on request was a nice touch. Very high standards and exceeded all expectations for a 3 star hotel.

Saw lots of negative reviews before arriving yes the rooms are slightly small but both beds were larger than an average single so take that into account . We stayed half board, the breakfast wasn’t great but the lunch was better. If we went back it would be room only as there are lots of restaurants nearby especially the grapevine that did a fantastic breakfast. Location wise the hotel was good with a 10 min walk to the front .

Lovely property, great rooms - amazing pool. VERY standard food options and the bar was not very atmospheric. The staff I met were lovely though and really wanted us to relax. Concierge and management were completely the opposite though and very rude, even at check in. I’d go back just for the staff and the guests we met who come year on year - I would eat outside though

We booked this hotel through hotels.com as it stated check-in was from 12 noon. We arrived with our baby needing changing, feeding and to sleep, only to be told check-in is 2 o clock. They didn’t seem to care that they were incorrectly advertising check-in time as 12 - it still says 12 on hotels.com. They didn’t try to accommodate us either, just got told we could leave our luggage. Pretty poor customer service. When we finally got the room, it wasn’t bad. Small, but 2 large beds which was nice. It was fairly modern, but not the cleanest. When walking barefoot you could feel the dirt on the floor on your feet. There was a yellow blob of what looked like kids play slime on the wall for the duration of our stay - 1 week. A bit grim. There was a dead hornet on our bathroom floor until the day before we left. I know I could easily have moved it, but it served as a good indicator as to how poor the cleaning was. The food, choice and service in the restaurant was pretty decent. We always managed to find something we liked. They have food being prepared freshly in front of you, which is nice. The pool, both adult and kids weren’t bad, but busy and not the cleanest. There was a plastic Ohtels beaker floating in the middle of the slide in the kids pool all week, and the sides of the adult pool weren’t very clean. The doors to the pool area are locked until 10 then there’s a mad rush for beds. Crazy. For the money, this hotel isn’t bad at all, but I probably wouldn’t stay here again.
