This is a charming small B&B located on the second floor of an historic building that is now primarily occupied by offices. It was an excellent home base for us during the recent heatwave. Beautiful atmospheric space with all mod cons. Superhigh ceilings, spacious dimensions, terrace over looking a leafy courtyard, excellent A/C, bed, shower. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Public spaces are comfortable and welcoming. Walking distance to lots of good restaurants and in/near great neighborhoods (Eixample, Gracia).

Facility is good, interesting building and exceptional location- breakfast was mediocre and service was so so, fine when they’re on site. The balcony was the best part of the stay

I loved the property. Everything was perfect for me. The location, the room was beautiful and very clean. The rest of the hotel was attractive as well. But, most of all the manager was welcoming, informative and helpful in every way.

The free tea coffee water station available 24/7 It’s like being a guest of a gentile family on the famous Paaseig de Gracia. It’s definitely our Barcelona base anytime in future.

Home away home. Much more relaxing than a “regular” hotel.

The staff are very friendly and are knowledgeable of the area. They go above and beyond to help you even with accommodating an extra guest. I really enjoyed my stay at Circa 1905.

One of the prettiest hotels we’ve had the pleasure of staying at. Booked the terraced room, amazing rays of sun light dashing into the room in the morning hours, very relaxed and calming. High ceiling with decorations looked beautiful along with the draping curtains and the thoughtful light fixtures. The wooden chairs and table are a thoughtful touch to the interior, not to mention the fascinating and colorful tile patterns. AND THE AC WORKS!!! The staffs were some of the most attentive hospitality people we have met. Welcoming and kind from the moment they greeted us, the breakfast is small but thoughtful and delicious, there are countless small details being considered by the team and the cleaning staff seemed to have a healthy obsession with tidiness, which is very much welcomed by us. Highly recommend stay at the hotel, would definitely be visiting again!! Many thanks to the Circa team for the hospitality!!

The hotel and room was very cute. The location was great… it is very walkable and next to a lot of shops and transportation. The breakfast had a good spread of items and coffee/tea is always available. The staff was helpful/friendly. I would stay here again.

Lovely historic hotel in a fantastic location in Barcelona. Delicious breakfast and first class customer service. There are only nine rooms, so it feels like a bed and breakfast.

This property was in a super location-close to shopping, eating and transportation. The boutique style enabled us to experience neighborhood life within the city. We highly recommend requesting a room with a terrace in the rear.

A charming property staffed by lovely people. Furnished with antiques. Immaculately kept. Inviting and extensive Continental breakfast. Coffee and teas available around the clock. They graciously arranged a taxi for us at the end of our stay and escorted us down to the street to help us get loaded! Also very secure. We had a room with a balcony looking out on the street which we loved! Bathroom very modern though house is historic. Bed and room were large and quiet. You can’t go wrong here!

This might be my favorite hotel of all time!

We enjoyed our stay here in September 2023 prior to boarding a cruise ship. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We arrived prior to check in time but were able to leave our luggage with the staff. When we returned later in the day, our bags were waiting for us in our room. Breakfast was excellent (fresh pastries, fruit, juices, cheese/meat, and more). There is 24 hour access to coffee (Nespresso) and still/sparkling water. The location was within walking distance to most of the sites that we wanted to see, and only a few minutes from the nearest metro station. It was very easy to get to the location via metro from the airport, and to the cruise ship terminal via the metro. There are many good restaurants close by. Our room was a "city view" room with a nice little balcony to watch the action below. At night the room was very quite and dark, we had great sleeps. This was our first visit to Barcelona and would stay here again.

We had a fantastic experience with Circa 1905. The hotel is located in a great area that’s close to great food and tourist attractions. The staff also provides phenomenal customer service, from offering free bottled water, excellent breakfast, daily fruit, and taking much care in daily room cleanings. They also went above and beyond to accommodate our last minute late checkout request. Highly recommend staying here!
