Decent hotel in a very nice neighborhood and close to a lot of amenities. Sockets in room could be more conveniently located. Good value for money. Some of the room furniture was a little dated. WiFi slightly weak on the topmost floors I think.

Great property, clean room in a quiet neighborhood. My only issue was the breakfast, the restaurant was closed, and the breakfast was sent to the room, I felt like a prison mate, it was very basic. Staff was attentive, no issues

I love staying at this hotel. Excellent location. Hotel is older but has its charms. Service is excellent. Rooms are suites with a bar and a varanda. Feels like an apartment.

The room is very clean and was quiet, I stayed in 20th floor. The room is old although well maintained, the water didn't flash well in the bath sink. Breakfast was very nice and the hotel is well located in the neighborhood

The rooms are looking a bit dated, but are spacious and comfortable and immaculately clean. The staff is attentive and friendly. Higienópolis is a safe, attractive, centrally-located residential neighborhood, just a short Uber ride away from Avenida Paulista and downtown SP. There are several good restaurants and cafés in the neighborhood, a vibrant cultural center (FAAP) and Brazilian Art Museum (MAB) across the street from the hotel, and beautiful park just a couple of blocks away.

I went to SP for an event at FAAP. The location couldn’t be better as it is 10m from each other. Perfect!

Very nice hotel.

Facilities are OK rooms are spacious. Most but not all do not speak English, non in the restaurant. Very helpful staff. We ate in the room but the cleaning next day did not clean the floor so crumbs were there two days after. Brazil has not discovered the tissue box yet so needed to use toilet paper.

Transamerica Classic Higeinopolis remains among the best hotels I have ever stayed at. Sure, I have stayed at many great hotels in New York, Paris, Rome .... but none have combined the feindly homeyness of this Transamerica. The only place they fall down at all is in the quality of the room service menu, which I rate merely average (bet there are things there TRY the hearts of palm soap. A local friendly plus urban effective staff is the highlight.

The hotel staff was welcoming, knowledgeable, helpful, polite and professional. The location is great. The rooms are spacious, clean but nothing special. The exercise room and the pool are disappointing.

I selected this hotel due to area and my normal hotel was booked. it was a clean hotel with very good staff. the breakfast was somewhat lacking. you need a step ladder to get into the raised tub, not very safe to try and step that high. my biggest complaint is the something that many people may like, the room layout; it was basically a living area and sleeping area, which is normally good, but due to size of sleeping area and location of the TV in a wall cabinet to watch TV from bed you had to open the cabinet door. with that open there was not room to go to living area because door was only 6" from bed. this could be resolved by putting separate TV in each area and doing away with the cabinet.
