Very close to nature. A little bit outdated. Warm service, nice indoor pool and sauna. Good breakfast as well

Arriving was such a great experience, how check in should be, almost immediate and giving useful information. The room was clean and spacious, the scenery out the window divine 😍. The only improvement I could recommend is to have a fridge in the room, although again the staff were lovely giving free ice for our water jugs. The was also no control for heating, so it did get a little warm later in the summer day, but I guess it's a minor quibble. The areas around is fantastic, and true Finnish beauty. Breakfast was a bit basic, and the gluten free options were not so great, but at least they did have some. Dinner however was far better, and almost everything can be made gluten free, vegetarian etc, and was very nice. Finally, for those reliant on Uber or Bolt, you can get taxis but you may have to wait occasionally. I used the timed feature to collect for the airport, and this worked very well, and was much cheaper than using the local taxi company.

The room was basic. No air conditioning or even a fan. The front desk lady who was in later was fantastic!! Breakfast buffet is wonderful. The setting is beautiful. Kids loved the pool.

Great amenities, delicious breakfast (they even had chia pudding!), food at the restaurant is tasty ( best of Nordic cuisine) and all the facilities for a great stay (you can borrow rackets for squash, badminton) or balls for outdoor sports during the summer, all free of charge!

Excellent stay. Wonderful nature

The customer service was perfect, the lady at the desk was impresive, kind and friendly. The whole stay was nice. Oh and the breakfast was tastey. Kitchen staff also was awesome.

Beautiful area, very quiet. Hotel is clean and updated. Breakfast is very basic, not much to choose from. Bring your own shampoo and conditioner. The room has one type of dispenser soap for everything. No coffee maker, no usb chargers, no shoe horn. Staff is very accommodating.

Hotel Korpilampi is in a nice setting, surrounded by nature and we found our stay peaceful and relaxing. The rooms are not as modern as some hotels in the helsinki/espoo area, but they were adequate for our needs. The staff were helpful and accommodating, I had my 9 year old son with me and they made a bit of effort to keep him happy as regards food and a drink with an umbrella.. these little things make a difference for a 9yo. We would stay here again.

Location by the lake, beautiful.

Relaxed, high quality, wonderful staff, wonderful breakfast choices even for modern, healthy diets. Well maintained indoor pool, and beautiful views from all the windows. I hope to return for another stay and will be more prepared for the no fridge in the room, but good, affordable, healthy food options upon request 24 hours. (They have more than homemade pizza if you ask). I would love to update the Brutalist-1979 influenced architecture and find local art students to paint the big dull building with murals of trees to help the building blend in with the real trees to look more appealing. It would be really cool to get temperature sensitive paint that can change to make it look like there is snow on the trees when it is cold, and during the summer the trees in the mural turn all green. Or a gloss that turns white like snow when it is cold. Making the outside more appealing will match better the good feeling inside and the gorgeous lake and tree views all around.

It was nice stay with quiet environment

we arrived late at night, later than expected due to traffic and bad weather. this was supposed to be a highlight on the last day of our trip, before we would depart from Finland the next day. We had booked lake vie but initially got a room with a view onto a truck car park. after complaining we could change, supposedly to a lake view. we checked out 2 different rooms but they did not have lake view either (even though we were told so) they just were facing the lake but view wing the garden. That also did not change with day light ;-) Getting the wrong in the beginning (things can happen...) and still not getting the lake view even if we were told so after changing rooms twice, was very weird. I want to be fair since the next day,the manager took EUR 20 of our bill and the room was ok and clean. But it was not what we expected and we felt tricked somehow...we probably would not come back..

It is very fine about food and environment. I wish you had had a transportation to the Bus Stop.
