Such a grand hotel , beautiful, amazing staff, great restaurants and very clean well put together rooms and everything in general I really loved it here

Rooms are fairly basic but we had an amazing view. The breakfast was really good too. They even had a gluten free corner with a separate toaster!

It was a great option for cheaper accommodation in Oslo. There was a bus stop literally out the back door for buses taking you to the city centre. A main train station was 20min walk. Beautiful view from the hotel out over the water. Breakfast was fantastic. Staff very friendly. My only dislike was the size of the single beds in the twin room. I chose the twin room because it was cheaper than a double bed room (don't understand why this is the case for single occupancy). The bed felt like it was for small children. I genuinely worried every time I rolled over that I would fall off, it was so narrow.

Pod : Hotel over all was pretty and very clean,very nice staff, breakfast was very good. Convenient for the handball World Cup . Restaurant only open for dinner, complementary coffee 24/7 which was very nice. Cons: Small rooms ,location is great for conferences and large groups but nothing to to unless you drive or take a taxi.

Everything was very good. Checking in and checking out easy and fast. Staff in general very attentive and helpful. Excellent breakfast with a wide selection, however limited space to store clothing during our stay.

The breakfast was very good. The hallways very dirty, vacuum cleaning was desperately needed. I paid for superior room, one double bed plus double sofa bed suitable for 3 adults or a family of 4. I received standard room with foldaway bed suitable for a child. On my request to correct the room allocation the receptionist explained that hotel doesn’t have rooms with sofa bed and Expedia made a mistake in providing room description. Next day , while room was cleaned, I saw that actually the rooms exists exactly as described by Expedia. My adult son had to endure 3 nights of discomfort. Very disappointing for a hotel that has word Quality in its title.

Breakfast was good at the hotel. However cleanliness left to be desires. Especially on the 3rd floor the carpet on the hallways was not vacuumed.

Food at Brasserie X restaurant for dinner & breakfast were good. Nice views & big room. Friendly and fast check in.

Since the recovery of the travels, many staff is barely less than a few months old and manning the front desk without sufficient experience. Many past reviews was pretty negative and as to how the GM responses are it’s left to be seen in the next 3-6mths. New Staff do not wear any Tags to state that they are new and therefore becomes ‘Nameless’, a strange habit 🤔 perhaps.

Not excellent but not bad

Good hotel in a beautiful setting. Comfortable rooms plus good food too.

Rooms were full upon arrival, sent me to next door hotel, who charged me higher as a walk-in customer, and extra charge if I choose full breakfast. They told me they have communicated next door hotel and everything should be same as my original reservation. If they charge one night rate for customers not showing up, they should also make the compensation if themselves break the contract of a confirmed reservation, there is a reason people make reservations before the trip.

Amazing hotel. Staff exceeptional. Food amazing. Breakfast supreme choice and all so fresh every day. Free tea and coffee to relax with in huge lobby area.

They gave away my room and offered an alternative on the opposite side of Oslo. Nightmare!

Pleasant hotel with nice breakfast

Though overall it was comfortable stay, basic facilities such as water bottles & coffee/tea utilities were not provided inside the room. However, coffee/tea was available 24x7 at the lobby as complementary. Stayed for 9 days but breakfast menu remained same, so was really boring! Location is good for those who love nature and want to stay in a cozy place, away from City.

Staff I encountered were very friendly. Buffet breakfast was nice and we ate in the restaurant for the first few mornings which had a nice ambiance. Final morning was in a different area not quite as nice/comfortable. Room was quite small but not bad considering price paid. Parking is expensive but still cheaper than many other places in Oslo. Overall, I was happy with the stay for the price I paid.
