I appreciated the silence in the night, the swimming pool, the breakfast with the best bread I had in Costa Rica, the beach right across the street, and having different sizes of pillows to choose from. Everything was stellar, save for a little detail: there was no hot water in the shower. I pointed out on the first morning, but it was the same on the next day. Fortunately, room temperature water is not too cold in Cahuita.

Pura vida

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this property. From the moment we arrived, every aspect of our stay exceeded our expectations. The staff, the breathtaking views, the beautiful location, and the outstanding service made this the highlight of our trip. The entire team was exceptional. The servers were friendly, attentive, and welcoming, and the food was incredible. Enjoying lunch and dinner on the beach each day was an unforgettable experience. A special thank you goes to the woman who checked us in at the resort. We affectionately called her "Angel" because of how genuinely kind, caring, and helpful she was throughout our stay. She made us feel completely at home and took such wonderful care of us. We already miss this place and cannot wait to return. If you're planning a visit to the Caribbean side of Costa Rica, this is the place to stay. The property is truly incredible, and you will be treated with warmth, kindness, and exceptional hospitality from start to finish.

We enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious and we got the room with air conditioning so it was very comfortable. The beach is beautiful and you can sit at the restaurant enjoying the beach view! My only complaint is that there was no hot water and beach towels were not provided.

This was my first trip to PV and the Atlantida lodge was just ok. The room was poorly lit and had bare necessities. I had to ask for clean towels and a floor mat more than once. Breakfast was good. Pool was nice and the beach access was gorgeous. The kitchen was ok. High taxes and surcharge so it’s cheaper to eat elsewhere. The grounds floor was dirty and always had maintenance and construction going on. Walls are so thin I could hear the people next door cough. Overall the would say it’s a 3. Probably would not stay here again

Volvería sin duda alguna. Personal atento-amable, limpieza de instalaciones, pet friendly, buen desayuno, buen restaurante.

I really had a good time, is so convenient that there is a restaurant right there, a gym, pool and ofc the beach right in front so if you are not driving you can have the Caribbean experience right there. The owner and staff are very friendly. This will definitely be my staying place every time I visit limon province.

Nos pareció muy conveniente la ubicación, frente a la playa con amenidades para estar en ella. Parqueo seguro. Desayuno bufet un poco básico pero nos gustó y fue suficiente para emprender un día de aventuras. El área de piscina muy linda. Lo único que recomendamos mejorar es la habitación, se nota que son antiguas y fueron remodeladas pero hay detalles descuidados. Aún así, las camas estaban cómodas y pudimos pasarla bien.

Staff was great. They were friendly, helpful and we were treated like family. The walkways are in desperate need of pressure washing. The shower was also in need of a good scrubbing and hot water was intermittent at best. The hot tubs were NOT hot. The breakfast buffet was a pleasant bonus. With a little love, this could be an AMAZING place!

We never had our room cleaned properly in 3 days Someone threw the bedspread haphazardly over top and put two clean towels on it twice Our fault we should have said something earlier Than on checkout

The hotel is definitely not 4 star. The whole resort is very tired. The worst aspect was the exceptionally loud music that was playing continually for hours on end.

Very disappointed by the breakfast (no choice, poor hygiene and not yummy and not warm) l, the rooms were dusty, we found spider cocoons under the bed, insects can come in by the door ( big ones). We had lezard inside the room that came out of a hole. There are holes all over the room on the roof and the rock wall that let insects and spiders come in. No TV and the price was high for a low season. We got hotels much better than that for the same price and an amazing

Pros: Great beach, great breakfast, awesome outdoor gym. Cons: Bed mattresses were hard and uncomfortable. Shower water temps were mostly cold.

At the restaurant is the beach view which is nice. Staff were adequate but unresponsive to cleanliness complaint. Pool was out of service for 2 days which really should have been stated on booking site as I would have chosen an alternative had I known that. Breakfast was average, margarine instead of butter was provided. Minimal fruit selection. The biggest issue was my room which had worms and cockroach infestation. I told the front desk and they said they would have the cleaning crew check (pretty much telling me I am in Costa Rica so this is life). I let them know I had swept them out as they seem to come out at night time. Every morning I woke up to worms and cockroaches. Even when I blocked the entrance door with a towel at base. I was cautious not to walk around bare feet. The bathroom door was clearly infested as you can see in the photos.

Great stay

The property was very much like you're in nature. There were many wild life on the grounds. I saw a beautiful toucan up close and personal. The beach was nice and clean. I will definitely be staying there again.
