Really enjoyed my stay at Waverley , affordable , clean & really excellent service from Hans who is clearly passionate about his many years in the industry & doing an excellent job. Really friendly & the other guests were returning , a sign of how welcoming & accommodating it is. I stayed to walk the coast path , excellent location , I stayed an extra night. Hans was helpful & friendly. And the breakfast , first class ! Really set me up well for a day walking !! This place definitely deserves its 5 ⭐️ reviews ! Thanks Hans & Janie

Beautiful place to stay within easy walking distance from the beach, Rail and bus stations and pub's, and amusement arcades. Despite it being close to the town centre it's very quiet. The owner Hans cook's a lovely breakfast every morning and is very helpful with ideas for thing's to do in and around Devon. Had a lovely holiday here and can't wait to visit again.

Had a lovely stay here. Hans was the perfect host made us very welcome and also our three month old puppy. Breakfast was excellent. Room was clean and comfortable. We will book again.. Perfect location for us.. Thank you Hans.x

really nice host room small and basic but this is reflected in the price very close to town and seafront superb tasty breakfast. made to feel very welcome and the host went out of his way to assist us well recommended the only downfall was the early morning chorus of seagulls waking us up but guess that,s the price you pay to be so close to the sea

It's totally warm & friendly Hans the owner should upgrade to 5 star very knowledgeable about the area and how to get there after being in the guest house for 17 years we thoroughly enjoyed our stay & recommend it to anyone who wants a nice quiet stay. 2 minutes walk to the beach and 5 minutes walk to the town what more could anyone want our car hardly moved all week
