everything was great with the room, location and the host

Friendly staff, very helpful. Good location, near tour bus and lots of dining options in the area.

Booked single room with privatedl bathroom. Room is small but clean and bathroom is clean too. Check in staff are friendly and explained well how to enter the main building. They also have a common area for having free coffee and common fridge to store your food if any. The location is also very accessible with metro or from the Airport bus too. Walking distance to famous spots such as la rambla or casa batllo etc. There is also a convenience store right outside the building. And nearby restaurant etc. The AC works fine too and there is a small tv too and have a shampoo and shower gel too in the bathroom.

Place was clean, no frills and no disappointments

I loved the location, very central to the Universitat metro station which made getting around the city very easy! Definitely thinner walls here so you hear what’s going on around you, but the bed was comfy and had everything you need!

Convenient to walk to public transport stations. A bit noisy in day time, early morning and evening. There is no washroom in the suite. There is a washroom in each story. Free coffee in the small kitchenette. The staff were friendly.

It was in walking distance to a lot of things and there were cabs or bike rentals close by. The building was interesting with the retrofitted elevator in the middle of the stairs like I only seen in movies. The AC worked super well getting the room nice and cold. Although a pumping problem caused a big drop in my rating otherwise it would have been a 4-4.5. Also the night person not speaking English made resolving the issue even more stressful.

Very noisy

The staff was niceand helpful. The properties was conveniently located near everything.

Hostal Delfos provided a good value for the money… I stayed here 2 nights and chose the most economical room which was very small, but clean, and it did have a private bathroom. Some of the rooms do share a bathroom. Air-conditioning worked fine… Plenty of hot water. There is a common kitchen that can be utilized… Small fridge, microwave, dishes, etc. free coffee, and tea was a plus! Suzanna greeted me upon arrival and was very friendly and helpful to provide restaurant recommendations. The other female staff were also very friendly. It is conveniently located by the university Metro stop, or you can also take the bus straight from the airport as I did for five euro and be dropped off fairly close. The place is nothing fancy, but as I said, good value and I would be happy to stay here again for a few nights.

Perfect location

Excellent location. Good wifi. Hot enough water for shower. Comparatively cheap price. A small supermarket and few cafe next to the hotel. Small room, not enough space for 2 luggages. Balcony not so clean. No enough hooks for towels and shower gel supply unless you ask for it the next day. Basically friendly and helpful staff except that we, at one night , accounted a senior male staffer who gave us a stern look while we politely asked for information and he just said, "No English" without any friendly manners. We could hear clearly the room doors closed clearly, but except that, we were lucky that we couldn't hear people talking during the 6 nights.

Great location, super close to main strip and also transport links. We stayed here with my young child and it felt very safe. Everyone was friendly and helpful. They have a little childrens table and a couple of toys in the communal area, which I thought was nice. A little loud at night with street traffic etc, however my son still managed to sleep through it all. Would recommend!

Great location. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Our room was by the street with a nice balcony. But the balcony door isolation was not very good, so it was noisy with traffic.

Just for one night, it was exactly what I needed for the price.

Solo travellers who want clean rooms and affordability with good locations....look no furniture. The staff were pleasant and rooms basic however well maintained. I'll stay again.
