The hotel was located in old town and we got the city view which made us feel like we were part of old town itself, which was amazing! We got to the hotel before 11 and since our room was ready, they let us check in early without any hassle. Staff was super friendly and always willing to answer questions. Location was perfect as we were walking distance to everything we wanted to see.

The location could NOT be better! The front desk staff was helpful and friendly, and spoke fluent English. The lobby area was inviting and clean. We ended up in a room with an absolutely magnificent view, overlooking the Beautiful Fountain. Our room (a Comfort Double) was spacious and well organized, with plenty of closet space and a long, functional desk/table surface. There were two barrel-style chairs and a little table. The bathroom was large and well laid out, except that in order to turn on the shower you had to actually step in; the glass door prevented you from reaching the controls without climbing into the high-walled tub. The hotel provided shampoo and body wash, but no conditioner. There was plenty of useful surface space around the sink and the tub, and even a magnifying mirror above the bathroom sink. I would *highly* recommend this hotel and would book again here in a heartbeat. I hope to have a chance to do just that! ==== I was so obsessed with the gorgeous view that I didn't really take any interior photos. Sorry! But please enjoy these photos from out the window.

The location in Old Nuremberg was a hub of activity with shops, restaurants, and an ice skating rink. Wonderful atmosphere. Fantastic experience.

Great central base to explore the sights of Nuremberg. Full range of breakfast options and surprisingly quiet considering its city centre location. Superb view of the Hauptmarkt from our Junior Suite.

The rooms were small and very clean. My kids didn't like the 'creepy' pictures of the people's faces in the rooms and halls, but I thought they were fun. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast was absolutely lovely. The parking situation was a bit stinky, but the public parking not to far off was fine. My stay was during the Christkindlesmarkt, which was happening right next door! Very close and very nice location to many major sites. I just wish I had more time there.

Very clean, excellent staff, great breakfast, parking was great, bathtub! And shower had good water pressure, close to everything. Room was small but efficient, only wished there was a fridge.

The Sorat Hotel Saxx Nurnberg is perhaps the single most perfect hotel to stay in while in Nuremberg. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable to direct guest and make suggestions for the area including restaurants and activities. Morning breakfast here is simple but filling, including eggs, bacon, yogurt, fruits, and various pastries. It is a small hotel with generously sized rooms. The Highlight to this hotel is the location as it overlooks The Hauptmarkt which is the Main Market Square. It proved to be the PERFECT location as we could open our windows and look directly at The Christmas Markets which are held there every winter! Making purchases at The Christmas Markets and walking it up to the room, coming down for more and repeat! Absolutely perfect! Some of the best restaurants and The Frauenkirche is also a stone's throw from the hotel. Surprisingly enough the walls and windows are so well insulated that you cannot hear any noise from the outside including the bell that rings from the church! Basically, this is the best hotel in the city if you want to be in the heart of the city. Friendly staff, sizeable rooms, good breakfast and views that are unrivaled! The only thing missing is a gym but you are on vacation!

Room was clean, staff friendly, didn't have breakfast. Coffee available in the lounge in the mornings for no cost as none in room. Location was central, perfect.
