The Residence was very clean. It suited our needs, and we appreciated having two bedrooms. Staff answered all our questions, very helpful.

If you're simply looking for an affordable place to rest your head for the night, this is a good option and the price was reasonable. I was especially looking forward to staying here because I'm an alumnus of the college and lived in residence during my first year over 20 years ago. I asked if there were any alumni discounts available, but was told no right away. I also asked if it would be possible to stay in my old room for nostalgic reasons, but that request was also declined. I understand that policies are policies, but I wish the staff had been a little more accommodating or at least shown a bit more interest in helping make the stay feel special. Overall, it was a decent place to stay, but the customer service left me disappointed.

Air conditioning was not working - temp was 25 deg cel whole night - difficult to sleep.

Mouse Droppings

Very basic room and very far away from the front entrance. Unlike hotels there aren’t multiple entrances. Loved the suite aspect with the 2 rooms and small kitchen space. It was fine for our purposes but definitely don’t expect too much.

This is an affordable, safe, quiet, clean place to stay. I will return again. I will remember to check if the A/C is comfortable for me and make a request for maintenance earlier in my stay so that I could be cooler...or moved.

its a college dorm, if you're just looking for a place to sleep and save money, this is the place

We have been going to the same location for Mom and Daughter weekend for several years now. We changed from Collège Boréal due to closeness (parking lot) for my Mom. First time I am sent so far away yo park. We went in the rooms, floors are filthy. Have not been washed in a long time. We understand no dishes, etc. But this is the first time we don't even have a plastic glass in the bathroom. First time ever to be so disappointed.

I was very impressed with how friendly the check staff were. I had a glitch with my reservation, however it was expedias error and it was of course impossible to get a hold of anyone through the contact numbers. The residence staff however went above and beyond and corrected it for me.

Common areas where not as clean

All you need for a quick stop and it’s a reasonable price.

I wrote three messages in the spot that said Contact us. Not one response. The thermostat did not work and the unit was freezing. Despite setting it to 22c, the room temp never climbed above 17.6c. (I have a photo.) We could not stand being so cold and booked other accommodation for our second night. The phone number/extension number did not work either. Why would they put us in the furthest possible room from the check-in desk? The beds were comfortable and clean but we had to use the pillows from the spare bedroom to get a decent pillow height.

AC was only available not heat and it was cold outside. I turned the unit off and the room warmed to a good temperature. Likely on a boiler system and shoulder season can be unseasonably warm or cold.
