Excellent location and value for money. Staff are so helpful and approachable. We will return next year for another 14 day stay.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We were offered a welcome drink at check in. Breakfast was ample with cereals, fresh fruit, bread/toast, cold meats and cheeses, scrambled eggs, sausages etc. It is on a slight hill but you can use the lift at Hotel Cavtat which is handy. Would definitely recommend and hopefully will return.

Villa Royal is very conveniently located close to the beach and the picturesque port of Cavtat. A short boat ride from Dubrovnik so a good location for those who don't want to stay in Dubrovnik but be within easy reach. It is a charming village. A big attraction for us was that it was close to the airport and so very convenient if arriving late or only briefly in the area. We found the hosts at Villa Royal very friendly, our room was clean and comfortable and breakfast very adequate. We would definitely stay again.

Great location and a really nice place to stay. Just 10 minutes from the airport and 5 minutes walk from down town. The location is 1st class. The price is good. Two things we did not love: 1. There was no lift / elevator so carrying cases was hard for me! 2. The main room had a smell of stale smoke. Not so pleasant. Otherwise the place was awesome and I would stay there again.

Very hot for all 7 nights of our stay. Impossible without air conditioning that worked great. WiFi little inconsistent that became frustrating. Staff great. Breakfast sufficient. Very tranquil setting with superb view. Using lift with Hotel Cavtat greatly appreciated. Cavtat is real jewel.

we stayed in this apartment on a bed and breakfast basis for 2 nights after arriving at dubrovnik airport. it was a short walk into Cavtat town to look around and it was easy to take a boat to visit Dubrovnik. The apartment itself was spacious, clean and comfortable with great views and was very well equipped.

Found the accommodation to be as described, good location close to centre of Cavtat, Comfortable room with balcony and view of the bay.

I enjoy my experience so much I thinking of going back next year.Hotel a bit basic,u got ur bed bathroom tv what more do you need,For me villa royal blue was really nice,I will stay loyal to them,if u get good service it can turn in to a customer for life.

Nice clean room with a balcony. We had a fridge which was an added bonus. Breakfast was included and a nice selection of food. It was under the flight path of the airport so you sit outside and view the different planes going overhead. The villa was a 10 minute walk into the town of Cavtat.

Easy access to bus station and ocean from this location. One of the receptionists was helpful but the other one was not interested in her role. I recommend booking your airport taxi through the hotels local driver. He was on time and friendly. I have a suspicion I was double charged for the daily tourist tax which is collected by the hotel. 1 Euro per person per day. I had a taxi waiting and didn't wish to argue the point. On principle I will query this with Hotels.com when I return to Australia.

We wanted a room close to Dubrovnik airport because we had a very early flight the following morning. The place was spacious and was located near downtown Cavtat which is a neat little town. I was able to walk to pick up pizzas for dinner since we were exhausted from our 2 week trip. My only complaint was that I requested a wake-up call and there was no followup.

It is convenient if you are flying out the next day. The airport is literally 6km away and you will reach in 10 minutes max. The hotel is definitely not charming, rooms are clean and you can sleep fine. It is not a place you want to spend any more time that. The town of Cavtat is very pleasant and well worth a visit.

We arrived and were warmly greeted and offered a warm beverage while we were checked in. The staff was so friendly and went out of their way to make it feel homey. Breakfast was wonderful. Our room was clean with fresh linens on the bed. I loved it! My spouse speaks Croatian, but they spoke english with me, which was not necessary, but greatly appreciated. Overall, wonderful experience.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Villa Royal. The service was the best. I have seldom felt so welcome in a hotel. The breakfast buffet had a lot more variety than I expected.

This is a very nice small hotel. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Nice clean rooms wit air con. Breakfast was thrown in and although basic was a good start to the day. Very well located close to the town and beach areas. Not much over and above room facilities but goo dvalue for the hotel price paid

Less than 5 minutes walk from center of Cavtat but still without any noice from trafic, this hotel is an ideal place to stay. I was greeted by a very sweet and friendly receptionist. She recommended a good restaurant for late dinner and was back on duty for breakfast the next morning. A very good experience.

Room was nothing fancy, but clean and nice with a little balcony. Paid less then half the price of the fancier hotels that my friends stayed at. Rooms where almost better at the Villa Royal but no view. My friends barely had a view in their places!
