Great location, 5 min walk to town, access through a back gate to the beach (short walk) or walk to town and to the main beach from there. Pool great, beds comfortable.

The room was okay overall, but the best part was definitely the location — the beach is just nearby, and Byron Bay town centre is only about a 10-minute walk away. It was also great to have access to a BBQ area and a pool, which made the stay more enjoyable.

The room was clean, staff friendly, no counter close to kettle but a long counter in the room that worked.

It’s an older motel & very close to the beach so a lot of obvious rust at base of wall , in bathroom & toilet & in actual rooms old plasterboard that’s falling apart

Nightmare Check-In: ​ ​No Staff: There was absolutely no check-in staff available after 5:00 PM. ​Security Risk: The key was supposedly left "under the mat," but it had already been taken by someone else. This is a major safety concern. ​Zero Support: There is no phone or chat support available at night. I was left stranded until they finally responded the next morning. ​Suggestion for Management: Stop leaving keys under mats. At the very least, you should use a secure lockbox with a code.

Room was clean and spacious. It provided all the amenities we needed for a very comfortable stay. The gals at the front desk were lovely and very helpful. The location is perfect. 2 mins walk to the beach and 5 mins walk to town. Ended up staying an !exyra night
