My daughter and I enjoyed our stay at this resort! Great breakfast, staff and hotel

Our stay was amazing. This hotel is perfect for those who enjoy quiet and peaceful time. It is located on the quiet side of the island, so get a car if you will explor around but if you want just to rest, no need to rent a car as you have great beach, food and hotel walkable distance. Beach was great. They offer umbrellas and sunbed free of charge by the beach. By the beach there is s guy renting water sports equipment (SUP, pedalling and kayak). Not the best area for snorkeling unless you get a SUP and go close to rocks. Back to hotel: Breakfast was brilliant and views are amazing. Service wise everyone (from reception, to restaurant, cleaners and vallet services) was very cordial, super friendly and always willing to help. I loved the scent as well. They should offer to sell it! It's super good. Pool bar in the other hotel is also great, so it is a plus that we can use both spaces (best gelatto ever!). What could be better: Small gym. Well equiped for cardio but very few equipements for other workouts and not many options of weights. Room lacks a full size mirror and bathroom is very dark. It lacks light for a proper make-up. It is pretty dark. If you enjoy local food: at least one day go to their dinner buffet. It is very good (quality vs. price) but also enjoy restaurant on the other side (Restaurant Port de Balansat). The best paella and aioli in the island 😉 We will definitely come back for other relaxing long weekends.

Great place to stay with children and easy due to being all inclusive - good range of food. Two choice of pools and really near the beach also.

So we knew what we were getting when we booked this. This all inclusive hotel was actually cheaper than most apartments in Ibiza so you get what you pay for right? We just wanted something with a pool, close to the beach and with everything included. This served the purpose for us. Rooms were fine, air con worked and wasn’t noisy. The toilet smelled a little bit we were close to the beach and we were on the 1st floor. The balcony was addiquate but nothing amazing, the view was beautiful though. The hotel only has 2 lifts that serve 8 floors. A lot of the time we took the stairs because the wait for the lift was a long time. The main restaurant was on the 8th floor so we were strategic about when we went to dinner given the lift situation. The food was varied in the restaurant and it was good enough for us. We enjoyed the fish night a lot. The pool side bar offers American style burgers, hotdogs, chips etc. I could see that getting a bit boring but we only grabbed one lunch there. 2 pools which weren’t crowded, lots of sun beds. Pool side games and entertainment throughout the day. Beach was also right there and a fantastic place to snorkel, lots of fish. Beach had boats, kayaks etc to hire for the kids. The evening entertainment was cheesy but my 6 year old was way in to it and we sat and enjoyed drinks while he participated. Drinks were good and lots of options for the kids too. Taxi from the airport 35-40 euros.

The hotel was perfect for a week away with kids. The hotel offered large, clean, air-conditioned rooms. Thw main restaurant served a wide range of food each day, which had something for everyone in our party.

Close to beach, clean and tidy.. Top notch staff and food was was good too

Myself and my family (4 adults and 3 children) stayed at Club Cartago for a week, week commencing on 13/10/2018. We was told the hotel was closing for the winter on the day of our departure with renovations due to take place throughout the hotel during the winter months. As the holiday progressed the resort began to close down but it was good to see all on offer at the beginning of the holiday. The resort is clean, with everything you need in walking distance (supermarket, car hire etc). There are water sports (pedalos, banana boat etc) - The man who works there is rude so he did not get our custom. You have to pay extra for the sun beds and parasols each day and they were not cheap. The hotel is clean and the rooms are of an acceptable standard. All is in need of an update, furniture is a bit worn and walls need painting - Hopefully the renovation work will address this. The beds were comfy and there is air conditioning. The bath in the room was a nice addition. The maid attends daily, makes the beds, changes towels and has a general clean around. The food was acceptable but it was repetitive. Fish and chicken daily, but with other bits changing. The cheese board, muscles and clams were a nice addition too though these were not a regular occurrence. Myself and another from our party enjoy walking and there are some amazing walks in each direction, into the hills and along the coastline.

We travelled in October as family of 4. Weather for the main was very good for this time of year. Hotel is slightly dated but wonderful location for the kids with access direct to beach from hotel. Food was good but not a huge selection. We stayed in family room which was spacious and cleaned daily All in all we found it fantastic value for money in a nice location with easy transport links to Ibiza town etc. Provided you are not turning up expecting a 5 star resort you should have a great holiday.

The hotel is perfect for a family holiday. The food is nice with quite a wide selection on offer which managed to keep both our rather fussy kids happy. The beach in San Miguel bay could not be any nearer, and was the best family beach that we tried throughout the entire island.

Excellent location , good entertainment, good for kids, being on the beach was a bonus too. Sun beds on beach were expensive come armed to mainland Spain. Not much veriety in the way of hotel food day to day

Great location wasted because this hotel is very disappointing. The AC was broken and needed to be reset every 2 hours..... looking at it I’m surprised it worked at all. The room was very dated as was much of the inside of the hotel. The food was TERRIBLE with a buffet made up of low quality choices, and the evening snack was ghastly with something that was trying to resemble ham as the main offering. If you choose this property then don’t get your expectations too high, it will be a very average experience in a lovely location where the staff also appear to be disillusioned and indifferent.

Cockroaches in the room,very dirty rooms,appalling entertainment,food very very poor thishotel is more like a 1 star,very dirty around the swimming pools,was told this hotel club cartago has been taken over by new management, and they are running the hotel in to the ground for a few years to get money to make it in to a 5 star hotelPOOR POOR POOR

Amazing location , self service drinks for all inclusive , very clean throughout, food generally very good

The hotel location is great, set on the side of a cliff around a beautiful beach, however because of the all inclusive nature of the hotel (at a reasonable price) the quality of the food was very poor.

hotel was in beautiful position but food was very ordinary not much variety.entertainment room was a joke.it was a long narrow room.if you were at the back hard to see and hear.staff very friendly and helpful.lovely view from room.
