Stayed here both last year and this summer. Very convenient location between airport and city centre. There is a bus stop right across the hotel but taxi is also very affordable. They have a nice buffet breakfast and rooms are very clean. Friendly staff as well.

My second time at this hotel. Convenient location to the airport and great for parking.I have always requested a takeaway breakfast. Too many biscuits and cake given. On my last day I didn’t request breakfast but was told that I could get something if I liked so I went and checked. They do have more savoury items which I prefer so in future if I decide to stay at Heliotrope Hotel I will request certain foods. The room this time was a lot smaller and the shower thingo was broken and the pressure was very weak. The water also went quite hot then cold. Evi at reception is wonderful. She is definitely an asset to the hotel.

The staff was very responsive to all requests. The breakfast buffet is abundant and good.

Everything was excellent only had one issue. The service at the pool was lacking. First meal came in about 30 minutes and the other meals half hour later.

Comfortable and convenient hotel being close to Mytilene airport. Have stayed several times and always get a warm welcome. The hotel, set around a large swimming pool, has views over the sea. A large selection of breakfast items is available, which currently is served to guests.

Obviously this hotel has been refurbished and it an interesting option where to stay in front of the beach (and the sometimes too noisy road) Due to Covid restrictions, cleaning is made in room upon request, but it's really ok. Wifi signal excellent for working. Pool available and very kind staff. Nice hotel overall so many possibilities on island. Close to airport.

I really enjoyed myself here. The entire hotel was so clean which is extremely vital to me. My suite was very comfy with a tv in the seating area and in the bedroom area. There were a number of options for breakfast. Pool was crystal clear even though it was too cold for a dip (for me). Staff were very helpful and friendly. My only issue was the debate I had to have with the lady on reception over the currency I wanted charged from MY account. She failed to realise that by me selecting GBP it means they still receive the fee in their own currency and I don't get charged by my bank for a non GBP transaction. It made me feel very uncomfortable especially when she accepted it when another person advised her of the same thing I had.

I was disappointed with the cigarette smell in the room. Despite claims the room was 'non-smoking' the furnishings and bathroom had strong remnants of cigarette odour. Ironically there was even an ashtray left on the balcony table. I had to leave doors and windows open. I expect guests still don't respect this rule. What is it with this ridiculous obsession with smoking in Greece? Deodorising the room furnishings is recommended. The lift also didn't work. You call the lift and then when you get in the power cuts out. The lift should be decommissioned, I expect it doesn't comply. Doubtful I'd stay here again. To be fair, the service, proximity to airport and parking convenience were all otherwise excellent.
