This hotel is located in the ghetto. We did not feel comfortable there and certainly did not feel safe going out to eat. The rooms themselves were clean enough but we were not allowed to bring food into the rooms. My daughter said the pool was warm, but they didn't provide towels. When my daughter asked for another towel, they said there would be an additional fee. I recommend avoiding this hotel and all hotels near the Pompeii Ruins.

The staff were very helpful and arranged transfers for us as well as helping us do laundry and catch the train. The breakfast was simple and the dinner was good. You can not have any food in the hotel rooms. It is fine for the two nights we stayed and for the price.

The air conditioning could be improved as it wasn't very strong. Everything else was great. Except where the hotel is located there was lots of garbage everywhere but that is not the hotel's fault. Apparently they have a landfill shortage of space so the garbage pick ups aren't being done if the garbage has recyclables in it.

Nothing wrong with the hotel. Comfy bed, nice shower and an excellent breakfast. The two things that let it down were the filthy location (rubbish all down the street) and the miserable owner. His wife and staff were pleasant enough though. They won't let you eat food in your room, so if you go and are looking for a friendly place to eat turn right out of the entrance and walk about 200m and you'll find Pio's. Well worth a visit.

Quiet little family hotel. Night shift clerk (Giovanni) was very nice with everything. Only issue is that at 11hrsam razor sharp , you have to be out of the room. Since our flight was at 7hrspm , we wanted to spend some time at the pool before heading to the airport but a lady which seemed to be one of the owner , said the pool was closed because the water was cold....... Very strange considering that Giovanni , the night clerk had told us that the pool was open the previous day!!! 25C was the forecast with sun all day!!!!

Paid for a transfer offered by the hotel to the airport, a staff's 'friend' took us and decided to stop on our journey to pick up his mate- completely disregarded the private hire and the fact that we had paid €50. The what seemed like manager of the hotel came across very unprofessional. Walked around in yellow speedos, took showers using the pool rinse off area. He also came across very discriminative. Often he would push for my friend and I to leave the pool, asking questions like "you go bed soon?". On top of this the language barrier was very difficult- the other staff members however, were much better at communication and were much kinder, however, that can't make up for the upset caused by the manager, his actions and the treatment we experienced.

This hotel was excellent value, not on the main European tourist trail though close to Pompei. Clientelle seemed mainly Italian. Pool well maintained, staff very helpfull. The building is more attractive than shown in the photos. In our opinion, a much better location from which to strike out to Vesuvio, Pompei and Erolano than the Amalfi coast.

The room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable with a nice view of the landscape and mountains. The friendly and cheerful breakfast staff served the daily breakfast which was very good with a nice selection of food to choose from, and a great cappuccino to start the day. The dinner selection was tasty and convenient as I was too tired to go to a restaurant to eat. The hotel staff were positive, attentive, and very helpful to my travel needs such as providing maps and information for Scafati, Pompeii, Naples, bus and train transportation, a free shuttle service to and from the train station, and arranged with a hotel staff member personal transportation for a reasonable price to the municipal buildings of Scafati and a neighboring town to obtain more information about my Italian family history. The hotel staff made my 3-day visit very enjoyable and productive.

The hotel and room were satisfactory. The family owners have little English so could not be as helpful as they might have liked to be. Breakfast was adequate but the one dinner we had there was overpriced for the quality. While not close to the ruins at Pompeii, it was a reasonable location for that purpose but for nothing else.

The staff were very nice and generous with their information. My only complaint was that we booked it because my 11 year old wanted to swim and it had a pool. When we got their, sweaty and hot, the pool had been drained for the season!

We really enjoyed our stay in the hotel - and the dinner was great too! Everything seemed very well kept, and was a good value for the price. Would recommend the hotel to friends or family going to that area.

Stayed for 3 nights at the end of our trip round Italy and it offered the relaxation and opportunities to sight see at the same time. Eleanor and Adriano did everything above and beyond to make our stay amazing and memorable.

This hotel stay could have been fine, but the attitude of some staff towards guests is very strange, including rules about no eating in the room and no using the fridge in the room to store your food or drinks. I stay in a lot of hotels and have never come across such 'rules' before. The surrounding area is very dirty with lots of litter.

A family run hotel - language is an issue so prepare some Italian phrases. Breakfast is basic continental style. There is a very good restaurant - 5 minutes walk to have a very cheap evening meal - very good quality. Carrefour is about 5 minutes away too. There are no tea or coffee making facilities so take a travel kettle. Pool was pleasant after a hot day in Pompei. The only downside is that it is on a main road and traffic noise is an issue if you have window/doors open.
