My family had a 3-day, 2-night experience here. The rooms in the new area had beautiful views, lush greenery, a large swimming pool, and the staff were enthusiastic and friendly. The breakfast buffet wasn't outstanding but was delicious and had a good selection. There are only a few points the resort needs to address and improve:
1/ The double bed creaked when getting in or out of bed.
2/ The toilet/bathroom in the twin rooms at the end of the row had poor drainage, causing backflow and an unpleasant damp feeling.
3/ The resort is large, grand, and imposing, with a paved road frontage and 24/7 security at the gate. However, the back, facing the sea, is poorly supervised. At 4:30 PM, my family of four went down to the resort's private beach to swim. We brought a small Tod bag containing a towel, four t-shirts (which we had just changed out of), a phone, and four pairs of resort sandals. At that time, there were no resort staff on duty at the beach; only a few other guests were swimming. A short while later, a group of people appeared, including a young man around 25 years old, a middle-aged man around 40, a middle-aged woman around 40, and two teenagers. The 40-year-old man walked around my bag, while the 40-year-old woman and the two teenagers watched my family swimming. After observing that things were quiet, the 25-year-old man ran over and rummaged through my bag. My family and I ran up to ask what he was doing. He said he'd mixed up the bags. Meanwhile, there was only one bag of mine in the area from the beginning. He held up his phone and gestured, explaining he was looking for it. I asked my husband to check our belongings to make sure nothing was missing before letting him go. I believe this is a professional gang specializing in stealing on the beach. The incident happened so quickly; I looked around for help from the beach staff but couldn't find anyone. This is a major drawback of the resort. Protecting the lives and property of guests is paramount while they are using our services. What a shame!
