Positive: This is a good hotel. The location is excellent. The breakfast is very good with different kind of food. The staff are polite and helpful. The room is spacious and the shower is very good. Negative: It is difficult to watch tv, because the image freezes every minute. We called the front desk and ask them why we were having that problem and they told us they didn't know. We asked them for an extra pillow and they gave it to us the night before we left. The elevator is old and goes down really, really fast. Overall, a good hotel to stay a few nights, but it needs renovations, especially the elevators.

Comfortable rooms and lovely restaurant, with helpful staff. Receptionists varied from friendly, helpful and professional to the complete opposite.

Most of the staff were helpful and professional, especially the staff in the restaurant who were friendly. However the first time I checked in the man was very unhelpful and told me there was no booking in my name and tried to sell me a room. I was upset and then he said 'I need your passport'. I told him again I had booked and paid for a room and he seemed to nod and I gave my passport. He had found my booking but didn't tell me or apologise and there was no welcome. The second time I checked in, the woman has welcoming, friendly and professional. She also spoke excellent English.

Normandy is in the heart of centro. It's convenience is good. The property is a bit dated but the attention of staff made the stay well deserved. Front Desk was exceptional. Restaurant, housekeeping and room service was excellent. In the night its location can feel a bit deserted but is generally safe. I enjoyed my stay.

Bel hotel bien situé au centre-ville. Toutefois, si vous avez le sommeil léger, prévoyez les bouchons car la ville est bruyante àcet endroit. Les enfants ont adoré la piscine sur le toit et le buffet au dejeuner.

The property was very close to the bus station. The staff was available all night. There was someone available after 11pm to take bags to room.

Great hotel to adults stay, room it’s really good and clean, excellent food in the breakfast and lunch, because they were overbooked we couldn’t have extra pillows, they also should put an valet parking to pick the car at the hotel lobby, I needed walk a quarter mile to parking my car at the proper parking and at night it’s dangers because of many homeless around. I would stay there again but without my kids . The staff it’s really kind and fast to fixing any problems.

Very good location, although, the cleanness and the hotel maintenance were very disappointing in a general way. I found pieces and stains of soap in the shower area. The glasses of the shower were very dirty. I found holes in the bed sheets. The pool was disgusting. The water is very dirty, seems like they never changed it or treat it. I do not recommend this hotel.

Very friendly, comfortable and staff are very attentive to the guests. Excellent place to whilst visiting Belo Horizonte.
