Clean and organized, well maintained paths. Food at the Chinese restaurant where the main lobby building is at was delicious.

A good place to spend time in the nature. 1-2 Nights stay would be good to enjoy the hot spring pools and massage.

Very good for young people, not so friendly for elderly people as too much climbing.

As a hotel guest, the outdoor hot spring pools and access to the forest park for free. Our room was outdated, poorly lit had, and the air conditioner was not working properly. It overlooked the hotel pool which was filled with fallen leaves and moss. The breakfast is located at another building (we had to walk over in the cold and rain) and the breakfast was mediocre. We had dinner at the Chinese restaurant located at B1, the service was good and the food was pretty good. Overall I give this resort B-.

The room and stay was fantastic! The kids love the pool and hot spring. Beside, the food from the hotel was very limited since there’s not much choices outside the hotel. There would be much enjoyable if the hotel catering improve dearly.

thur couldn’t find our booking record, showed them my confirmation email and still couldn’t find it. Gave us the wrong room type (i booked the room with mountain view but ended up getting a room with the view of the parking lot.)

The beds are very hard, but bedding is very clean. There is no in room hot spring tub, which was disappointing. Breakfast is not great, both for the variety and quality. Since it’s in the wooded area, there is no other option for breakfast.

I had a problem even before I arrived - arranging for the transport. Email is in chinese. The shuttle was delayed by 30mins when the other passenger arrived late. At check in, I was shocked when the staff tells me I do not have a return ride and that I must either get a cab, or go to some local area that I haven't even heard of. They even tried to demonstrate loudly that it was my fault for not stating I needed a return shuttle, although that to me was implicit. The rudeness of the second staff who came over to help the original trainee got to me. And in the end she did arrange it for me, but while sounding like she was in a fight. She basically forced me to leave at 1130 instead of the 1230 as stated on their website. The resort is widely spaced and the initial orientation by the trainee was full of mistakes (wrong timings and prices) and hard to understand. The brochures and maps are in chinese. Another lady who speaks some english came over and kind of saved the day...she was the only friendly face there amongst one clueless trainee and a staff with a rude tone. Room - basic amenities. Given room at the lift which was noisy. Far distance from hot spring. The duvet/blanket was smelly, which was changed by a staff. Room also had a lingering smell when we first entered, and we aired it for a couple of hours. Limited food choices. I will not recommend non locals to consider this place.

The facility is great and the staff is wonderful. However, you should have a car there; since public transportation is not readily available. The restaurant on premise is excellent but the few restaurant around is just so so. Good for a one to two day trip, because we did not have a car.

Nice hot spring and facilities prepared and maintained by the hotel. A great place for a rest. Yet, do cost certain money and public transportation to the city is really not very convenience. It takes time and effort, particularly after the evening.

It is not only a resort but also an open tourism spot, so it is more recommended to visit during weekday than weekend. Also it takes a lot of groups by providing BBQ space/ equipment as well as team building area. It could be a bit crowded and noisy during holidays.

This resort was better than I expected. Although a little pricey, the facilities were great, including indoor and outdoor saunas, 2 restaurants, shops and walking trails. Breakfast was very good, and included a large selection of Asian and Western dishes. Parking is available on-premises quite close to the room. The Wi-Fi coverage was good, and the room was very clean. We had dinner at each of the restaurants (one Chinese and one Western), it was very satisfying and not overly expensive. The menus were in English. The resort is located quite close to the Xiawulai nature reserve and the Chiang Kai-Shek mausoleum, both of which are about 15 minutes away by car (not sure about public transport). Otherwise there is not much else to do in the immediate area. Overall we had a very pleasant stay and will be back again if we are in the area.
