We stayed at Plitvice Holiday Resort for a family holiday with three young children and unfortunately left very disappointed. We specifically booked this resort because of the family facilities and pool area, which looked beautiful online and were a major factor in justifying the high nightly price we paid (£285 per night). Before arrival we received notice of construction works, but were reassured that all facilities would remain open. On arrival, however, the resort felt heavily affected by ongoing building work and parts of the pool area/access were closed off. The overall atmosphere was very different from what had been advertised and from what we expected for a relaxing family stay. The resort later stated the pool was technically open via another entrance, but this was not made clear to us at the time and the overall experience did not reflect the premium family resort we believed we had booked. We also dispute the statement that guests were offered the opportunity to modify or cancel bookings after receiving the construction email, as this option was not provided in the communication we received. Because the facilities and environment were not as expected for travelling with young children, we decided to shorten our stay and leave early. Most disappointing of all was the dismissive and defensive response we received when raising our concerns afterwards. A beautiful resort!! We stayed in the TPs which I wouldn’t stay in again. The beds weren’t super comfortable and the AC struggled so it was pretty hot. It was an adventure though and we’re glad we tried it. I think next time I’d stay in one of the cabins instead as the property itself was absolutely wonderful! Also very close to Plitvice national park and the Barac caves.

Really appreciated the in floor heating in bathroom. We spent a cold rainy day in the park and this felt great on our return. Restaurant close by was very nice, great service there.

The small lakeside cabin was spotlessly clean and looked new. It was relatively small and orientated to look at the road rather than the ‘lake’(pond). If it had been 2/3 the price, it would have been fine. It has no self catering equipment apart from a kettle so breakfast must be purchased at the on site restaurant €14 per head. It’s also a 15 minute drive from the park entrance.

Was a great place with swimming pool and a Restaurant...

We stayed in a hotel room on the property. The room itself was very basic, and the door was a bit strange. The door would only close if it was locked with the key upon entrance. However, the hotel had a nice pool, helpful amenities (ex: laundry room, market, & restaurant), and was in close range of Plitvice Lakes National Park.

You have to pay $5. Euro to use a lounge chair at the pool. Quite tacky, Very nice location with good amenities some rooms are very small, showers hardly enough room to properly shower.

We took the tree house and it was amazingky beautiful and special. The entire resort is beautiful and comfortable. The pool is impressive but freezing so we couldn't use it much

Good tree house the kids they liked the atmosphere and new experience. The resort is well looked after shopping market and restaurant was good. The breakfast buffet was just good need to be improved with more options. Near to plitvice lake less than 15 minutes which was our main reason to book here we spent 4 hours on route B walking and using the boat nice walking and water falls. Pool walking area play ground mini golf .. etc good activities for the kids.

Good place to stay. Small little community away from the busy road. Close to plitvice park. Small grocery and resturant out front. Room was clean. Shower was a little small and bed was firm but overall good place

The property is beautiful. We stayed in a Lake House on the lake which was lovely. The room was incredibly clean. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We ate breakfast at the restaurant on our last day and enjoyed it. The resort has many amenities including miniature golf, table tennis, ,a workout area, pool, hammocks, and volleyball. Unfortunately, it was raining so we didn't get to take advantage of them all, but I bet they are excellent in good weather. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and I would recommend Plitvice Holiday Resort.

It was a beautiful lake lodge we stayed in a quiet forest. We enjoyed the quiet morning with hot tea at our balcony even though it was very cold outside. Recommended to stay min 2 nights to enjoy the area and we loved our 3 nights stay. We rather checked-in late but staff recognize us (we were the last one) and gave us some good advice. The nearby parking slots were all taken but we could park the car nearby camping site. The hot water amount is limited so you should consider others if you are not alone in the lodge! Amenities were limited so if you are picky, you should bring yours. The air-con was nice design but we were not used to its functions, it did not warm the room enough. But the staff came to check when I ring and it was very helpful.

For the price, the property is good. Check in was prompt and informative. Rooms were clean and well appointed but the bathrooms are definitely on the small side. Dinner and breakfast were good. The resort is a good base for exploring the national park and lakes.

All good. Clean to spotless, stunning environment, pretty bungalows, very good service from the staff. Cannot say anything negative.
