Besides the room not being big enough to open my suitcase (comically small), the place was great! I was there for one night before transit to Valencia and it was perfect for that

The staff kept telling us there was no room available. Then we saw them checking in many others. After waiting hours and pressing them on the fact others were checking in, we were finally given a room. The room was very basic, noticeable mold in the bathroom, and smelled really off.

A very easy check-in. Staff were exceptionally great. The breakfast was typical European. The grooms were exceptionally clean. If you were a larger person, The space in the bathroom will be in sufficient for you. But all the amenities were there and it was exceptionally clean. Certainly not North American size. But very cute, clean and European.

The property was a great stay in Madrid! The coffee and drinks were a wonderful touch! The lobby space and rooftop space were great spots to enjoy drinks and food!

Everything was great

Slow and small elevator, which is to be expected from older Spanish hotels. Great location and great customer service. Rooms are modern and clean. A/C worked great.

Es un hotel pequeño y muy acogedor. Las habitaciones son más amplias de lo que uno supone. El aire acondicionado, maravilloso, de los que no abundan en los hoteles de España. Por hacer el check on line “premian“ con sodas, té y café ilimitados. Y la ducha, increíble: si indicas caliente, sale agua caliente en el acto, y lo mismo el agua fría. Y con un chorro contundente. Tiene al lado la estación del metro De las Artes y cruzando la avenida, la estación de Atocha. A unos pasos del famoso café El Brillante. Recomendadísimo.

Staff was friendly. Room was a little smelly but it could be that there isn’t great air circulation.

Really well located hotel opposite the Atocha train station and on the same square as the Reina gallery. Rooms are compact but contain everything you need. The hotel is eco friendly so you may need to let them know if you do want more towels or sheet changes. If you check in online you get complimentary soft drinks and hot drinks during your stay. They have a great rooftop breakfast and coffee area which serves fresh coffee and pastries. Breakfast is buffet style which you have to book a slot for as seating is limited some may find it limited in choice but there are a number of homemade pastries and cakes as well as fresh hummus and guacamole which is worth trying and there was plenty of choice for us. Staff are really friendly and helpful. The rooms have a Bluetooth speaker which is a great touch and to say you are so close to the main road the rooms are quiet with the shutters on the french style balconies (not sufficient to sit out on) working really well to block out the light. We stayed for Mad cool festival and the hotel was perfect for sleeping in after a late night but also close to festival transport. Really hope to visit again.

Great place to stay

This hotel was amazing! Located near central station, it’s great for solo travelers! Clean, friendly, and a perfect place to launch your Madrid adventure! They even hold your bag in a locker for 1 euro for a day!

Although the rooms are small, the amenities are great. Staff is friendly and helpful. Great location. Would use again.

Everyone I met was so accommodating and friendly

This is an excellent choice for a budget central stay in Madrid. Right next to the Reina Sofia gallery which was a bonus in the summer heat. The hotel itself was outstanding - lovely friendly staff, fab lounge area and a cosy comfortable and cool room. Highly recommended all round.

Excellent Stay in Madrid We had a wonderful stay in Madrid and were extremely happy with our hotel experience. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with any questions or recommendations. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making us feel right at home. Overall 2 stars: I arrived 30 minutes early prior to check in and was told room wasn't ready. Staff kindy offered to hold my bags and told me to come back. Fair. She collected my info and said room would be set. When I came back 90 minutes later, they didn't have all my info and so needed to give them a little bit more. My room was 201. It stunk horribly-- like sewage or trash. I went back down to desk. Staff went up to room to smell it. Initially she said she could smell it then said maybe it was the airfreshener. Definitely not. She said to wait in my room and she would see what she could do about getting me another room. I waited in room for long time and had to go BACK to desk x 2. AC wouldn't work. Smell was horrible. I opened windows, but still stunk. I tried to cancel my reservation and find another hotel. Found that there were nicer hotels on travelocity for cheaper. Unfortunately I could not get a refund. Front desk was eventually able to get another room which smelled way better with AC. On each floor, there is a tv screen with ads for the hotel. What you see in ad, a hispter nice botique hotel is NOT what I got. Amenities and room were VERY basic and doesn't look like Ad. Pros: close to Atocha train station. Room has BASIC necessities. AC. Clean. Queen mattress, not super comfortable. Hot shower. Private bathroom Cons: Cost/experience. no shelving or luggage rack. suitcase on floor. Basic amenities (soap/shampoo). small BASIC room. It was exactly what I needed for this trip, but the rooms are very small. The location right by the train station was excellent for me on this trip.

Budget friendly yet so close to subway station (Del Artes), next to Reina Sofia museum, and Atocha train station if you want to take high speed trains to destinations like Granada or Sevilla. A lot of reviews didn’t mention their built-in room speaker! This is the best feature as I can easily connect my Spotify and listen to white noise to help me sleep or just any music in general.
