This Riad was amazing! Dinner and breakfast were superb! Noureddine the manager was excellent. He arranged our pick up from the airport and even met us at the drop off point to take us to the Riad. He went out of his way to make our stay the best it could have been!! Stay here, you won’t be disappointed!

There was water damage in riad and smelled like musty mildew. No tissues, ran out of toilet paper. We ended up with a different room due to the water damage. No welcome drink and no one to greet us. We had to call and wait for letting us in for checking in. We decided to go to the square for dinner. Asked the staff how to come back since we had an issues at check in. We were reassured to just ring and/or knock and we would be let in. We arrived at the riad to knock and ring over and over. Called 15 times without any answer. Waited outside, late at night for almost 20 minutes before we were let in as the only staff member was sleeping. I would definitely not stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at Riad Dar Massai. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. The Riad itself is beautifully decorated, peaceful, and full of charm, a perfect escape from the busy streets of Marrakech. My room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and I really appreciated the attention to detail throughout the property. Breakfast was delicious every morning, with fresh ingredients and a lovely setting to enjoy it. The location is ideal, 10 min walk to Jma el Fna but tucked away enough to feel quiet and relaxing. The team were always available to offer recommendations or help arrange anything we needed, which made my stay even more enjoyable. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would happily return. Highly recommend Riad Dar Massai to anyone visiting Marrakech. Special thanks to Nourdine and Adam for the lovely service provided.

The service at this Riad was exceptional. From greeting and checking us in, checking in to make sure everything is okay and making sure breakfast is available for the time we were starting our day. They even set up something small for us on the day we were leaving at 7am. The rooms are clean, spacious, the bathrooms are great and the rooms are cleaned each day. The area is also very nice and walkable. It's beside a meat market but you'll only notice it when walking to and from the hotel. It's very easy to walk into the souks area and the square. I'd highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a place to stay in Marrakech.

We really enjoyed our stay here, even though it started off a little confusing! We went to the address shown on our booking and ended up at their sister property, Dar Massaï Spa, instead — so there was a bit of a walk with our suitcases to the right riad. Once we got there, though, everything was lovely. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming, and the riad itself is beautifully decorated and very peaceful. The beds were really comfortable, and the breakfast each morning was excellent. It’s a little bit out of the way of the main centre, but once you get your bearings, it’s a great base for exploring Marrakesh. All in all, a great experience with wonderful hosts — just make sure you head to the right Dar Massaï when you arrive!

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and always willing to help with a smile. The location couldn’t have been better close to everything yet still quiet and relaxing, making it the perfect spot for both exploring and unwinding. The amenities exceeded my expectations: modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and incredibly comfortable, with all the details carefully taken care of. I also really enjoyed the common areas, which had a cozy yet elegant atmosphere. What stood out the most was the people the service was consistently outstanding, making me feel truly at home. Every interaction was genuine and added to the overall charm of the place. I honestly can’t recommend this hotel enough. It’s rare to find a place where everything from location to amenities to hospitality comes together so perfectly. I will definitely be coming back!

The staff was incredible, the mattress could use a change up. Quite possibly the best coffee we have had at any of our Riad's. A great experience overall.

Getting to the hotel can be a bit of a pain at first with luggage as the cobble streets and navigating around the locals and bikes. Once you find it the Riad is so nice inside. The staff are the kindest and nicest people I’ve ever encountered in any facility. The hotel was kept so clean! The room We had was perfect for us (definitely make sure to bring your own toiletries and maybe extra toilet paper/ wipes. They have one roll provided but it’s not as much in a roll compared to rolls in the states. We luckily had wipes so had no issues. Also remember to have a water bottle to brush your teeth. If you’re from the states- Morocco isn’t probably your first trip but just a reminder to get an international wall outlet (the two prong stick looking wall plug). The streets come alive at night! -I don’t recommend going too far off the beaten path at night. Also be aware of the children in the area they will tend to ask for money and will follow you to the hotel. Overall if we were to come back to Morocco we would stay here again!

First of all, the staff is just the best. The riad itself is just as it looks in the photos. I had the room off the main room and it was quiet. I could hear the rooster and birds chirping and loved it. The bed was comfortable, I had all I needed. Wi-fi was great and they have WINE The staff wants you to feel like a family member in their home and they do just that. The riad's location is safe and easy to get to once they show you how to get there. The taxis are just a five minute walk. I would absolutely stay there again and especially as a single woman guest.

The Riad is very nice. The decoration is fabulous and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. I also liked the terrace up on the top. The food and breakfast was also very good. Unfortunately, though the walls are thin, and there was a guest in the room next to me who was snoring very loudly every night, which was making it very difficult for me to sleep. I wanted to change rooms, but unfortunately, this was not possible. There is also an annoying rooster next door that starts making noise early in the morning so probably not the best place to stay if you are a light sleeper or bring ear plugs. Also important to know that if you use the hotel’s hammam , it is a 10 minute walk away and the lady who does the Massage gave me only a 30 minute massage instead of a 45 minutes. After complaining, I got an extra 15 minutes so if you do book the service, just keep an eye on the time.

My stay at this hotel was nothing short of awful. At the end of my stay, I was overcharged for the city tax despite having a confirmation email from Hotels.com clearly showing the amount due. The staff refused to honor it, which felt dishonest and left a bad final impression. The hotel itself is extremely noisy. A rooster crowed loudly every night, and it sounded like it was right next to my ear. It was impossible to sleep with the constant noise, which completely ruined the experience. Combined with the dated and dusty rooms, it felt more like a poorly maintained hostel than a hotel. The property desperately needs renovations and a thorough cleaning. The breakfast was disappointing and inadequate. It consisted of just two small pieces of bread, a dry, sweet bun, a tiny portion of yogurt, and a small glass of orange juice that wasn’t even filled. When I politely asked for a refill, I was refused. It was insulting. To make matters worse, the heating/air conditioning was broken, and the worker at the hotel was downright creepy. He seemed to be watching us all the time, monitoring what we were doing, and even followed us to the supermarket in a suspicious manner. This made us feel extremely uncomfortable throughout our stay. On top of all this, the worker at check in didn’t speak English at all, making communication a nightmare. Overall, this hotel was a complete letdown. I would never stay here again and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
