We loved everything about this hotel but the staff was what made it the best hotel we have stayed at so far. They were absolutely wonderful and the service at breakfast was amazing. If you book this hotel, definitely get the breakfast! This place will always hold a special place in our hearts!

Very nice and quiet, spacious, extremely clean and very nice and friendly staff. Just 15 minutes away from palace by walk. Few minutes away from train station. Awesome experience

Phillipe the receptionist was very informative. Told us of 2 local restaurants, we tried both and they were excellent. He was very helpful and gave us a map of the area to use. All round person you need on the front desk. Very close to the Palace of Versailles. Close to local bakeries for breakfast.

The owner-operators were knowledgeable, attentive, welcoming, and absolutely lovely. My room was perfectly clean, simple, and comfortable. I highly recommend!

This was the perfect stay, we could not have picked a better hotel in Versailles. The bedroom and bathroom were impeccably clean, the lobby was clean and cozy, the staff spoke English and were so helpful and nice. The train station is a 5 minute walk and the C train runs to Paris every 10 minutes. There are so many restaurants and patisseries in the area, the area felt very safe even at night. The palace was a 10 minute walk through a very cute park. The only thing I would have changed would be a more comfortable bed. The bed was very stiff, it was like sleeping on a stone slab with sheets. Other than that, everything was a 10/10 for us. If we make it back to France we'll be staying here again.

Very near of Versailles Palace , very good customer service. But the hotel is old and needs to be refurbished.

The staff was very nice and accommodating. We arrived early (before check-in) and they stored our luggage while we walked the area. The location was ideal and we felt very safe. The building was old, but that’s what you come to expect in Versailles. The room was adequate size for 2 people, bed was comfortable, and the shower had plenty of hot water. We would stay here again.

A wonderful hotel with amazing staff. The welcome was warm and friendly and every interaction was a joy. The location is beautiful and the room generous in space and views that can’t be beat. A perfect hotel to enjoy a gorgeous part of the world - made even better by wonderful staff.

Air conditioning would be good on a hot day

Lovely little hotel in the centre of Versaille. Very clean and quiet. Friendly staff and a comfortable room. Easy and close access to the Palace of Versaille.

Wonderful hotel with great proprietors, always a friendly welcome as we came and went. Room was large, by European standards, and a reasonably sized bathroom. Location is excellent, Versailles Palace just a few blocks away, as is the Rive Gauche train Station, Chantiers is about a 12 minute walk. Many Boulengeries and various restaurants, all within easy walking distance and the Notre Dame Market, only 10 minutes away, on the days it operates. Would definitely stay here again..

The staff were wonderful. Breakfast with homemade jam and bake goods were great.

Fantastic, well run hotel. The front desk staff obviously take great pride in their hotel. Very welcoming and helpful staff. Great recommendation for dinner. We were pleasantly surprised to find a fridge in our room. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

Perfect for my overnight stop before the Olympics

Good position to visit Versailles. Large car park 200 metres away that was quite reasonable for a long stay. Room was clean, bed comfortable. Staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. Restaurants also 5 mins away, I would happily stay again.

It was close to everything from excellent food to Versailles. It is the place you want to stay.

Royal Hotel was great except for the toilet area which was so small it was difficult to use.

It was lovely! I only wish there was air conditioning. Nonetheless, Silvie was very kind and a gracious host. Andre was also very kind and helpful.
