The room was really clean and big. Along with the room there was a balcony with a beautiful view onto the other houses. Inside the room there were big windows allowing to view the river outside. The service was great- the woman at the front desk was polite and kind. The breakfast tasted good, but didn’t have a lot of variations.

Excellent service. Beautiful rooms and view of the canal. Some people mentioned noise as an issue in their reviews, but we did not find this to be a concern. The windows are excellent sound proofing. There is a little noise from above and below in the building, but it is minimal and less than you would expect in a city. Beds soft. Good light with light control. Breakfast at Cafe de Sigaar is about what you'd expect for hotel breakfast, with great service. The location of the hotel is excellent- 2 minutes to excellent bakery and Alber Heins. 15 minutes to The Forum. We walked everywhere and rented bikes from Fietsverhuur Groningen (recommend) to bike to the Haren Botanical Garden (also recommend).

We had a truly wonderful stay and would happily return. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, kid friendly and thoughtfully designed, with great attention to detail. The location is excellent as well, just a short walk from the canal and close to everything we wanted to explore. Overall, a fantastic experience, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit!

This is the most spacious accomodation I have ever stayed it. This is not a room, it is an apartment with all the appliances one needs for the comfortable stay. Plus it is tastefully decorated. I must not forget the staff at the reception. They were very kind, welcoming, and helpful.
