This is a wonderful hotel on an amazing little island. Our booking had a check in time of 5pm, but we arrived at 12 to drop our baggage in the luggage store to find the room was ready. We had a harbour-facing room with an amazing view of the island. The room was spacious, but best of all was a large terrace/balcony with loungers which was like another room. We did not eat at the hotel, so cannot comment, although we saw others having what looked like a very substantial cooked breakfast. Some themed meal nights. Our room overlooked the outside dining area but did not feel exposed. We didn't use the indoor pool because beaches were so close. Hotel is a short walk from the ferry arrival point, but it is a perfectly nice walk because there are few cars. The lower path involves some steps. The price of the stay includes the cost of the return ferry crossing: details emailed a few days before visit. The booking form provides for a crossing from Le Brusc but we asked to travel from Sanary and this was accommodated. (Cars can only cross from Le Brusc however). The island is delightful. It takes about an hour to walk around it. Lots of photogenic beaches (but some via rocky slopes). A few restaurants, all-day baker, a nice bar often with music staged, and a well-stocked shop that is not as expensive or unwelcoming as some reviews suggest. Lots of toilets around the island (good for oldies like us). Our new favourite place; magical.

This hotel sounded quite promising but is actually a really good three stars rather than 4 stars. The staff is very young and often doesn’t know much about activities, timings etc (ex bike availability, ferry time etc). despite being advertised (in small, we didn’t notice) as weekly cleaning a minimum was still expected from a 4 star such as emptying bins and refilling coffee etc which wasn’t done even the one time they cleaned. I understand the eco-friendliness of not changing the sheet daily, but the minimum is coffee, a quick vaccum to remove the sand from floor and emptying the bin; apparently not here. Breakfast was nice, although opened till 11am, but 10:15 barely anything left. Would only recommend off season when prices are closer to a three stars, rather than a summer high price which makes you leave a bit bitter.

To start the day: Access cost by car = eur 140 Individual = eur 19 Despite the kindless of staff, hotel looks like a hospital. Room cleaning was scheduled every 3 days for the (((reason of Covid)) .... A portion of Nescafe coffee was available in room only the first day then apparently not provided. Overcrowded beaches with difficult access Definitely a bad experience therefore we shortened our stay by 3 days even all was prepaid.

The best bits: Lovely views, restaurant good, nearby bakery fab. Staff friendly. What disappointed us: This is not a car-free zone - car limited would be a better description - you can take your car to the Island if you wish. This island is - in essence - a massive beautiful holiday camp - nice if you like that sort of thing, we were hoping for something just a bit less so. We're not keen on evening entertainments etc - but having said that, those which were provided looked very well organised. As far as the hotel is concerned - the terraces/balconies face the east, so no sunsets, but it's difficult to enjoy the balconies anyway if you're a non smoker - it drifts up from the drinkers below and the neighbouring smokers - making a nonsense of the no smoking accommodation. Took the staff two days to get rid of the wasps nest and its pesky residents despite frequent requests (luckily we speak French). Hotel website not as helpful as it could be. 'Free parking' only free on the island (120 euros to take the car) or leave on the roadside by beach - otherwise be prepared to pay 15 euros a day and then spend a good hour making phone calls in French for a taxi to the ferry. Advised to call the hotel from the ferry to arrange help with the luggage. We tried, they weren't answering the phone. We walked - the wrong way: the signage is contradictory. Ended up in the car park (where I discovered we could have brought the car - that's not on the website) and entered through the back.

good stay but hotel can be more by orienting pool and bar and restaurant towards the open sea. so far it is more a seminar hotel than a vacation or weekend hotel...
