It was fine and clean. Would book again.

This was a last minute booking that pleasantly surprised us. Aside from the double beds (some couples might find it cramped), this was a great place to stay! Staff is very friendly and helpful!

It is really a student residence

We were very happy with the air conditioning as it was a hot day. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean. It was a quiet stay. We stayed overnight for our daughter's convocation at Nipissing University, so extremely convenient. It's close to grocery stores and restaurants. The lake is a short drive away.

I would strongly advise anyone considering staying at Candore College Residence in North Bay to book elsewhere. My four-night stay was completely unacceptable and one of the worst lodging experiences I have ever had. During my entire stay, my towels were never replaced and my sheets were never changed. Basic housekeeping standards were ignored, and when I brought up my concerns, staff were rude, dismissive, and unwilling to help. The most serious issue occurred at 2:17 a.m. on my fourth night when a staff member entered my room without my permission. There was no emergency, no prior notice, and no reasonable explanation. Being woken up by someone entering my room in the middle of the night made me feel uncomfortable, unsafe, and violated. Guests should be able to expect privacy and security, and this incident completely destroyed my trust in the property. To make matters worse, there were earwigs crawling throughout the room. Seeing bugs inside the accommodation was disgusting and raised serious concerns about cleanliness and maintenance. Since my stay, I have repeatedly requested a refund. Every staff member tells me I need to speak with a manager, yet neither I nor Expedia have been able to get in contact with one. The lack of accountability and communication has been incredibly frustrating. Between the poor housekeeping, rude staff, pest issues, unauthorized room entry, and inability to reach management, I cannot recommend this property to anyone.

The room was in great shape. Everything was clean. The only minor issue was that our fridge sounded like a small trolling motor while it was running. Overall that didn't bother us.

We have been staying here for several years as a midway point for our northern fishing trip. Always a great comfortable place to stay. Highly recommend.

Would be nice to have. Just a coffee maker . A beside lamp in the rooms would be helpful and for safety reasons as well. Otherwise it was excellent

It is definitely for family. Like a cottage environment where you can cook your meals. They don't clean your room everyday, which my family prefer it that way. Definitely it is not a hotel setting at all. Anyways, it fits our family lifestyle. It is our 2nd time there and we are planning to go back again and again.
