We stayed one night in order to visit Talliston House in Great Dunmow. We had a wonderful stay. The room was lovely and warm, cosy and had everything we needed. We appreciated the milk, beverages and cookies. Everything was clean, the beds were lovely and it was a very quiet area. The gardens looked lovely, but weather did not allow us to fully explore. The cooked breakfast was a lovely start to the day. Faultless stay.

Very comfortable and excellent breakfast

Our family stay was very relaxing and the house annex was in a nice quiet location. The owners were very welcoming and the shower/toilet facilities were very clean. There was an outdoor patio to use and the beds were very comfortable! The cooked breakfast in the morning was excellent. We would definitely stay again!

We had a brilliant stay, it couldn’t have been better. The host was lovely and beyond helpful and the breakfast, one of the best we’ve ever had. Everything was so well thought out and really good quality, lovely bed, linen, rugs etc. The property also has beautiful gardens. We will be back!

We stayed just one night after a wedding reception at Leez priory. Lovely comfortable self-contained annexe, amazing breakfast. Friendly helpful and welcoming hosts. Highly recommend! It is worth a wander around the lovely village of Stebbing too.

I normally stay away from small B&Bs preferring my privacy but this is all self contained and a great place to stay with a welcoming host who let me use the garage for my bike too. OMG the biscuits were gorgeous too!
