Good choice for short term stay and pay less than in hotels

Very clean, friendly staff

We enjoy our stay, a good affordable place to stay for a few days. The staff was very kind and helpful.

The place was clean, very nice size, great for week long stays. Only complain is that the microwave did not come with the turn plate. The host did get one for us, but it doesn't fit well, the turn plate doesn't stay in place, but we managed.

they gave my room to someone else so had to figure out where to put us when we arrived. the room was clean and there were basic toiletries so is was nice. there were weird people walking around the campus so we didn't feel safe. Kitchen was dirty but it's on the people who cooked there and didn't clean up after themselves. And in the morning we met a mouse by the water cooler. this meeting was not a very pleasant one so we were glad that we spent only one night there.

Hotel is actually a dormitory. Room was still being cleaned when I checked in and I was asked to wait near the entrance area. Two bedrooms with a shared kitchenette and shared washroom. No TV. Only microwave, a faucet/sink and a fridge/freezer. One bedroom had a couple flies buzzing around. Windows were open which I found surprising since it was 35 degrees Celsius outside. Why would windows be left open if air conditioning was working? I did not notice any airflow out of the vents the entire time I was there? When outside, I noticed many windows were open. My room was quite warm and when I mentioned it to the front desk,they said there was nothing they could do as the entire building was controlled by a single control. I asked if they had a fan and they said they didn't have any. Parking lot close to the entrance only had a few parking spots which were full the entire time I was there. I parked down the hill at the large parking lot. A pain to carry your stuff up the hill. I only saw a couple vending machines and did not see a water dispenser or ice machine. Bed was comfortable and it was quiet while I was there. For the price I paid, it was reasonable, but I would stay elsewhere if the price is not much different. My price was about half of the next closest motel or hotel.

The room was good, we had 2 bedrooms with double beds, a private bathroom and a full size fridge with freezer, a kitchen sink and a microwave. Stoves were in a large kitchen with sinks but no pots, pans, dishes etc... needed to cook so you need to bring your own or buy from valve village or Walmart. Also didn't have enough bath towels for the 4 of us so we had to buy some. Another thing is all the signs there were in French since it is a French residential college dorm rooms. Otherwise it's was great for the money and cheaper then the hotels.

What an amazing deal! I wish we had stayed longer. We only stayed to catch a few hours sleep during our 19 hour drive but I was so impressed by our accommodations especially considering the price. Plus it made me feel like I was back in college and that never hurts! 🙂

All good for for everything. two big double bed room. With full kitchen. Clean and big. But when we have dinner inside my room .The cashier open our room door with key. Without notice. Never happened in my life. So scary.

You get what you pay for. This room just want for my family.

The place was hard to find. Parking wasn’t the greatest. Staff was friendly. It was a bit noisy because of the students banging on each others doors and speaking very loudly.

Microwave and kitchen cabinets were not so clean but the rest was perfect.

The room was definitely very basic, with cinder block walls, fluorescent lights and no night tables. The beds were ok. No elevator was available so you’ll likely need to carry your bags up and down a flight of stairs. Still, if you want to pay about half the price of a regular hotel room, it’s a reasonable bargain.

The AC was non fonctional. Went to the office they said couldn't do anything as it was central. The person at the desk was kind and polite. A lot of noise in the hall way. In the middle of the night was awaken by someone playing ball in the hall. Children pacing and screaming until 11. Didn't sleep well.

We tried calling several times but could not get through to anyone. When I got to the desk I discovered that this is a dorm and not a conference center. It is mostly inhabited but high school and college age students. The lady told me she had two rooms and that I should book through Expedia because it was less. She took my phone and booked it, I entered my confidential information. After booking, she turned to me and said that I had just booked one room, even though I told her I needed two rooms. When I went to book a second there were no rooms left. I told her I needed two. No matter what website I went to I could not book a second. She called her manager who would not give me my money back. Additionally, Expedia was terrible to deal with and did nothing. I drove an hour away and got a hotel. Avoid this place at all cost! It is not what it seems to be.

Great staff, helpful and the stay was comfortable. Close to all things.

It was another good stay, although this time my room did not have a TV as the last time I stayed there, so it made the evenings before bed a little dreary. I also had no lights or power in the bathroom. I had to use the common areas lighting to see around the bathroom. Nothing major, but just mentioning it.
