Good hotel for a smaller town. Staff was friendly and good amenities.

Location is amazing, underground parking 1 1/2 blocks away. Lots of amenities and shopping. A very quaint location.

Gyor is a beautiful city within a 2 hour drive of Budapest. Definitely worth stopping! This hotel was perfect. The only drawback was that there was not lift which was difficult for my 78 year old mother. We managed and were very impressed with the property, the staff and breakfast the following morning. I would definitely come back to this hotel for a future visit.

Barrok Hotel is in an excellent location close to many restaurants and shopping. It is just off the main square providing for a very quiet stay but very close to all of what the Promenade has to offer. It is very close to the underground Dunakupa parking lot. The hotel is in a walking only area and you cannot drive your car in front of the hotel to drop off luggage or check in. You must park you car in the underground parking lot. The staff was very pleasant and their breakfast was satisfactory. Very good value.

This is our absolute favorite place in Gyor. We keep coming back. The staff goes above and beyond to help you in every way. It is beautiful, spotlessly clean and in a great location. Parking is so close it is not a problem at all not having it at the hotel itself. Can’t wait to come back again! Best staff ever!!

If you are looking for a small (11 rooms) boutique hotel that is quiet, yet located downtown where all the key shopping and nightlife exists, this is a great option.

The hotel entrance was a bit hard to find and the entrance is rather unassuming but it is a lovely little place. We actually ended up changing rooms as the heat was not working properly in the first room; I always think it is a sign how complaints are handled that really shows how good the service is. The staff were so accommodating in this case and seemed to want to help any way they could. They also had some nice extra touches such as a little lounge area with tea, coffee and fruit; something you would not expect in such a small place. The breakfast was pretty good

This small hotel is in a fabulous location. Our room was spacious and immaculate— with an outdoor sitting area off it (tho it was too cold while we were there to use). The morning breakfast (which is included) is simple but first rate. And the staff speak English. If we should be in Gyor again, we will use this hotel.

The hotel is located in the heart of Gyor. As soon as you step out the door, you find cobbled streets for pedestrians only, a great selection of restaurants and outdoor cafes. The beautiful River Danube is a 5 minute walk away, the hotel overlooks Dunakapu Square where music festivals, Farmer's markets and other cultural activities take place regularly.

Our room was above the bar which made it noisy

This is a lovely small boutique hotel. Room was beautiful. Despite being in the centre of town the room was quiet (down side of pedestrianised narrow side street).

We were in Gyor for a wedding and spent two nights. We were having trouble locating Kenyer Koz and asking for directions when one of the staff was walking by and nicely led us to the hotel. Each staff member we had contact with was overly friendly and helpful. The hotel is very clean and is located in the beautiful old section of Gyor. It's near great restaurants, cafés, pubs,museums, and great shopping.

The hotel was nice, comfortable, great location right next to the main square in old town. The service was excellent, all hotel employees were very helpful. The only issue was parking since this part of town is pedestrian, but this doesn't depend on the hotel and we got help from the hotel employees with that.

It was a beautiful quiet hotel that was centrally located. Breakfast was great as well!
