The view from the hotel is magnificent. The Japanese style rooms are spacious and quiet. I speak survival level Japanese, but there were a lot of communication problems so be ready to have your translator handy. It’s best to have a car to get around the shuttle service was hard to schedule and when returning from the station, they leave exactly at the hour they won’t wait one minute for you during the crowded summer months you cannot get dinner served in your room so you have to eat and the buffet which had good quality for food, but it was still an expensive buffet

The view is breathtaking. The onsen is wonderful and lovely. Very relaxing to enjoy the beautiful view and is is well maintained.

Great service, beautiful area, excellent trip

The view is what's keeping this hotel going. It has no food on the property, no coffee in the room, just the tea (which is ok tea but nothing to start your morning with). It's very far from town and requires a $15 cab ride or 40 minute walk to get in - which would be ok if the place had somewhere to eat or was near other restaurants. But it does not other than a ramen restaurant that is open for 3 hours in the evening. SO plan ahead. Unfortunately my stay here was less than restful as the front desk called me about 8 times between check in and check out. Staff was very nice but it was frustrating to be bothered so much and have to run in and out from the balcony just to answer the phone about things that were irrelevant. Also, the futons are very thin. BUT the view. Wow is the view worth all of it. In sum: bring food with you, don't plan on going into town or plan ahead on your transportation costs ($30+ each day to get back and forth), and enjoy the view.

大浴場と部屋からも眺望良く、お食事も美味しいホテルで気に入ってます。 スタッフの対応も良く、気持ち良く過ごせました。

お部屋は勿論、露天風呂からの眺めが最高。 食事は朝夕、本当に美味しかったです。 朝食のおかずも種類が多く大満足でした

部屋の洗面台に前の宿泊者の付け爪が落ちていてギョッとした。。古い施設なのは仕方ないとして、もう少し清潔にしてほしい。あと、自販機が少なくて不便。お酒の自販機も各階に置いてほしい

スタッフのデヴィさんがとても気さくで親切にしてくださり、充実した旅行になりました。夜中に小腹が空いたので、大浴場近くの軽食店でラーメンを食べました。そこのご主人も人当たりが良く、また利用したいと思うお店でした。お風呂からの眺めも良く、海を見渡しながらお湯に浸かれるのはとても満足できます。夏だと虫がいるため露天風呂の利用は人によっては抵抗があると思いますが、秋以降のオフシーズン時に利用するのが良いかもしれません。

部屋からの景色は、言葉を失うほど美しく、感謝の一言です。質問や不明な点は、スタッフの方が敏速に対応してくださいました。 一つだけ改善していただきたいのは、朝食の時、ソルト＆ペッパーがないことです。ソーセージや卵にペッパーをかけたかったのに、スタッフの方に聞いてもないということでした。スクランブルエッグが、水っぽいのもちょっといただけないと思いました。 温泉をとても楽しめました。 ありがとうございました。

オーシャンビューの部屋でしたが目の前の海の景色もとても綺麗でスタッフさんの対応も皆さんとても良かったです！

評判通り、部屋、大浴場ともにオーシャンビューでとても見晴らしがよい部屋でした。お正月の家族良好に使用しましたが、家族4人大満足でした。

子供連れでしたが、早めに入室出来たり食事の時も 心使いが嬉しかったです。 海までの距離は坂なので少し 大変ですが プール気持ち良かったです。

料理がどれもおいしくて見た目も美しかったです 。 温泉も夕朝と楽しめて、露天風呂が最高に気持ちよかったです。 アクセスは遠いですが、周りに観光地が多すぎない分、のんびりと滞在することができました。

温泉がとても良かったです。 全室オーシャンビューでした。

アーリーチェックインで館内を使用することができ、非常に有り難かったです！

下田、外浦海岸の絶景が見渡せるロケーション。　温泉は日替わりで男湯女湯入れ替わりますが、どちらも露天風呂があり、眺めも良いです。
