Very clean and in the park, so great for early sunrise starts . Staff are helpful. Food was very good and lots of choice on the menu. They will help you with anything you need , and they picked us up from the AirPort for a fee.

Room was clean and comfortable, but on the small side. Hooks in the bathroom to hang clothes and towels would be helpful. Also, the hinges on the bathroom door could use oiling (loud creaks in the middle of the night). The hotel restaurant is excellent!

This place was absolutely amazing. Exclamation, I was so impressed with the food. I did not expect to have such a good option and the taste was even better. The rooms kept the mosquitoes out and they did have hot water. I would stay again and again when in Tikal

+good food, nice staff, adjustable fan speed, access to Tikal. -Mold on the ceiling and walls. Bedding was damp from humidity. Hot water only available during limited hours in morning and evening. Our experience at Tikal Inn was more comfortable overall.

The staff was very responsive in replying to my inquiries about tours and excursions. I managed to reserve the last remaining room available and so was able to visit the ruins of Tikal early in the morning before the crowds arrived.

The staff was very friendly and accomodating we arrived at 9 in the morning from Guatemala City, ate breakfast there (which was fabulous), and they allowed us to stow our suitcases behind the counter until we could checkin. We went and toured the main plaza of the temples and came back and they allowed us to check in about an hour early. The room was tidy and the beds comfortable. All three of us (me, wife, and son) used the hammock on the porch at various times and loved it. We ate three meals at the restaurant and everything was delicious. The one knock off was the water in the bathroom. My son has been living in Guatemala for the last 2 years, and is basically a native now. Even he couldnt figure out the shower. What little water we got was absolutely frigid, and very low pressure. He went and asked at the desk for help (he's fluent) and they couldn't do anything to help, I guess. 8/10 and will stay again.

This hotel is located right inside Tikal National Park, making it perfect if you’re planning the sunrise or sunset tour. Surrounded by jungle, it’s not a city-style luxury hotel, but that’s part of the charm. The property runs on solar power, so there’s no AC—but you won’t need it, as the natural breeze keeps the rooms cool. Everything was surprisingly clean, even by city standards, and the on-site restaurant serves very good food.

This property is in the park and so you can get to the entrance by 6am when they open. The grounds are lovely as you are in the tropical forest. The first night we were there we heard howler monkeys close by and saw a Toucan (wild) and many birds. The hotel is supposedly run entirely on solar power, although that’s not something I could verify. But kudos to them. The room was very spacious for my son and I and so was the bathroom. The second night a troop of spider monkeys went by. What more can you ask for? There’s no air conditioning and you can’t use hairdryers due to the energy consumption, but I don’t use a hair dryer anyway and there’s an overhead fan and they will bring you a second one if you ask, which we did, because it was a particularly hot week. We were comfortable. The hotel’s restaurant will take cards, but the other one close by will not. Bring quetzales! You need cash for certain things simply because you are in the park and there’s no ATM around. The staff were all friendly and professional. It’s a beautiful setting. I would definitely return here in a heartbeat!
