Lived in this hotel for 2 months a decade ago. Staff is good, food is reasonable, but the facility needs remodeling. Air conditioning was not working, WiFi never worked in the room, one elevator broke down, and furniture (including beds) needs renewal.

We love staying here. We stay at least once a year. They need to do some remodeling, but doesn’t reduce the value of this place. I wish they would at least upgrade their tv to smart TVs.

Staff was friendly, breakfast was good. The rooms were musty from mold. Bathroom showers were loaded with mold. It was disgusting. Switched to other rooms and they had mold. 4 out of 4 rooms had mold. No discount applied due to inconvenience and mold issues. I have photos but no upload link to share.

Bed was terrible/cheap box spring/not comfortable. Bed comforter was too thin. No central air and the room was freezing (late July 2021). Hotel did provide a portable heater, but it didn't help much. Certain areas of the floor in bedroom and 'living' room were "pitted/damaged." Hotel staff was great/friendly/professional, including with deliveries to the room. Published photos make the rooms look better than the reality. We probably wouldn't stay there again.

É um flat bem agradável, equipe muito atenciosa e tudo muito bem cuidado. Apenas o banheiro que tinha um cheirava um pouco mal por causa do esgoto, mas fora isso estava tudo 100%. Ótimo custo-benefício e boa internet para quem viaja a trabalho e precisa fazer calls constantes.

I have stayed in previous occasions at Sequoia, but they have little by little fallen behind times, their rooms are not updated and it seems they have reduced the amount of staff consequently any request takes for ever.

Communication with staff in English language was a very big challenge. Front office staff was very helpful both when I checked in and at check out. The internet access drops out and is slow. The toilet doesn't flush properly. Shampoo was not refilled.

Best value for money I have had at a hotel for 20 years, although the low price was largely due to the poor state of the Real at the moment. Great staff - very friendly and helpful. Well located in Alphaville. Really enjoyable stay.

Comfortable stay. Nice housekeeping. I liked that the place felt like a home with a living room, and a kitchen. I liked the bed. I liked the location, the view, the roof top pool. The staff is friendly. Few things I did not like: 1) My room had some issues that I reported but they could not be fixed. I was offered a different room but I was too lazy to change the room. 2) AC in room is good but it would have been better to have a separate AC or fan for the living room. 3) There should be more power points in the room.

It's more a flat than hotel. The bad was a disaster in terms of comfort. The office chair was a kind of a trap in case you decide to rest your back and elevators are really slow.

The hotel is a very good option for business travelers that do not require all the amenities of the branded ones, at 1/3 the price. Good option, clean. I'd return.

The staff was very helpful and courteous. The amenities and condition of the guestroom was below our expectation with respect to the price. There is construction of a new high-rise building in progress just beside the hotel so the noise level is high.

I was visiting friends in Alphaville and had stayed at the Sequoia on previous business trips, so I chose to stay there again. Each room is a mini suite with a bedroom and a kitchenette with sitting room. The rooms are no frills, but quite comfortable and the kitchenette is a plus for long terms guests as one can prepare meals in the room. There is a small open air swimming pool and jacuzzi on the roof of the hotel, which is nice to use when the weather is warm. Staff are very helpful and friendly. A breakfast buffet is included in the room rate.

It was a very nice and spacious hotel/flat service. Rooms are very big with a living room and a full kitchen. The pool and jacuzzi were nice at the rooftop. Jacuzzi wasn't very hot as the ones in the U.S. Gym was small but had everything one needs to get a full body workout. Equipment was fairly new. Sauna was great and not extremely hot. There is also an outside area where you can workout or hangout with kids. Great breakfast included in the rate and very friendly staff at all times. The area around the hotel is very safe and with many options of restaurant and anything else you might need as it is right across a commercial center. The only negative is the wifi speed and consistency. Sometimes it would not connect at all so it was a bit harder to get work done and communicating with family. Facetime was not possible at all times with poor or no connection. Also notify them about the wifi issue so hopefully they will fix it. Bed & pillows were not the most comfortable for a three and a half star hotel. I would stay again.
