This property is totally Mia represented. Theee is no parking as advertised, it is in a very questionable area for a senior alone - I am looking for a refund I did not check in

All the basics you need. Bathroom could use some work. Sink is a little small. Convenient location with good pricing.

The Dundas streetcar stops right at the Hotel. Clean, basic accommodation. Front desk staff were friendly and intended to be helpful. Towels were changed out each day. The nights were unusually chilly for mid-May and I couldn't get the AC/heating unit to blow warm air; front desk provided a second duvet but room was cold in the morning. The selection of cable TV channels (Bell) is unusual and of little value -- CBC local channels from across Canada but no CBS, NBC, ABC or CNN. Traffic noise from Dundas (sirens) went on past midnight, but fortunately I was NOT woken up in the middle of the night.

The staff was so nice she helped us a lots when i checked in and helped me to fix everything well. Nice staffs 👍

Beware. Bugs come out later in the day. Non refundable, refused to come see the insect filled room

Despite several efforts to have room refunded due to an emergency, they wouldn't budge. I will never stay here.

Had to find street parking.

Staff was very helpful upon arrival and showed us to our rooms. The place was clean and well maintained. Only complaint is the bathroom was way too small and water got everywhere on the floor from the sink for being so small. Otherwise, my stay was quite pleasant for 1 night.

Somewhat of a sketchy area of town during the day but at night, it’s fine, perfectly safe no noisy people or street people or anything. Hotel is in an older building but rooms are very clean good linens nice beds clean hallways. It was released expensive place in town and was better than most motel sixes or whatever you’ll see in this price range usually

The staff was super cheerful and polite . Thought they were great. I didnt have a great budget and it was last minute. The room had ac tv and a good bed. Pcs of the mwf were coming up. The bathroom toilet was a super snug fit to the door. And while I am positive it was clean, the discoloured grout in the shower was offputting. In a pinch it was ok. The staff I were the best Ive met at hotels

Ac was amazing. Bed was clean and comfortable. TV worked. Was enough to spend a few hours and rest. Simple.

Historic small hotel located in south Cabbagetown area. Room was adequate size and clean. My room was quiet. Window air conditioner worked staff were friendly and helpful. Not sure about parking but unlikely, the streetcar stop conveniently just by the front door.. basic nothing fancy. I had a good stay

The hotel contains only the basics, but that's all that's needed.

Very very small room extremely crowded for 2 and there is no parking available unless you find a parking on the side street very noisy very old building so nothing for sound control. Could hear the vacuum in the middle of the night running constantly filling up the coffee machine, ice maker, doors opening and closing all night. Very very uncomfortable and unsettled sleep. Had a 2-hour doctor's appointment and was quite exhausted before having to travel 5 and 1/2 hours home. Not worth the price page. Should have booked something a little more expensive for a better quality and sleep.

Absolutely loved it here, the staff were amazing and always catered to my needs. Two gentleman called Shazeb and Nick made my stay much more joyful. They are the most down to earth guys I have ever met and i loved having conversations with them every time they were in. (Apologies if i bored you 😂😂) I would 100% stay here again longer so i have more time to explore toronto.

All things said and done, this is by far the best place I’ve stayed at. I’m not talking about the amenities and the type of rooms. My visit to this hotel has been memorable because of the service. I really love the way I was treated. Love, respect and hospitality. I must say, if there’s one thing the Royal Oak Inn does right it’s hospitality. The front desk agent, Shaz, really did a good job and made sure he never said no any of my requests. He really understands the meaning of going above and beyond and has always exceeded expectations. Hats off!!!

The rooms were clean and the staff very helpful, but for two nights we had people in the room next to us arguing and talking loudly from about 2am till 6am 1st night and second night 2am and still going when we checked out at 6am next morning. The walls are very thin and you could hear everything. Safe to stay in at night, but do not walk around the area as we were told by uber and taxi drivers.

Three things to consider about the Royal Oak... The hotel indicates in the Orbitz website that it offers free brekfast and is NOT TRUE. They don't even have anything to offer "just a water dispenser". That is a serios deception that Orbitz needs to take in consideration. The second factor about the hotel, it doesn't have an elevator, so if you are staying in the third floor prepare yourself. The fornt desk lady try to help. But the narrow staircase make it very difficult. Third factor and the Hotel picures in Orbitz give you an impression that is not real about the location (too many homeless and drug addicts in the vicinity).
