We enjoyed our first visit at the Inn. We were in the area to watch the golf tournament in Cromwell. The staff were very friendly and helpful whenever we had a question. After returning from the tournament we enjoyed a nice beverage in the bar area. Although we thought that the menu options for the restaurant were a bit limited so we chose another restaurant to have dinner.

The food was exceptional, Breakfast and dinner. Loved the outside dinning area.

It just needs a nice overhaul. The bathroom has mold in it, and the elevators aren’t clean… but what did make this stay better was the restaurant, and more specifically, the bar at the restaurant. The bartender was absolutely amazing and erased all the average and bad feelings away. She was friendly and chatting it up with all the guests at the bar. It was just some guests at the hotel and her alone handling the service of the restaurant. Two thumbs up for the bartender. She made it all worthwhile- and I think all the guests would agree!

Helpful staff, cute hotel. Restaurant was closed in the AM for staffing or other probs… so had to find other breakfast but there are options walking distance.

Nice play to stay in Middletown and very convenient for visiting Wesleyan Facilities are a bit dated Rooms could benefit from HVAC updates Bathrooms small and spartan for the cost Hall can be noisy if near elevator especially on 1st floor

The staff was very nice. The rooms felt like an SRO. The sofa bed linens looked lslept in.

At this day and age which hotel does not have a safe for customer valuables. They preferred liability over customer safety.

Good location to walk around or hop on the highway.

The best place to stay in Middletown. Only downside is the parking.

The Inn is convenient to downtown as well as Wesleyan. We were assigned rooms 20 & 21 which were on the ground floor which abutted the parking and trash area and back access door. Every time someone accessed the back doors, our rooms would shake - enough to wake me up. And, then at the 5am the garage truck collected the trash from the adjacent alley which again, woke us up. The hotel is the best choice in town but be sure to ask for a room on a higher floor.

The Inn is quaint, cozy and inviting. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Especially enjoyed dining in the Tavern...all the wait staff awesome! Highly recommend staying!!!
