Food good, staff efficient & friendly, room clean and well stocked with shower gel, tea bags,coffee& biscuits.lovely walk from pub along the beck into Thirsk.

I found the Old Oak Tree team to be very welcoming. The room size was fantastic as was the breakfast. The pub does evening meals and has a great choice of dishes to suit all palates. Whilst booking a table is definitely recommended as the venue is very popular both locally and further afield for their dishes. I can highly recommend the Old Oak Tree, I will certainly be staying there again. The Old Oak Tree is in the perfect location for exploring North Yorkshire.

Quick, enjoyable stay, Very comfortable & excellent service

We had a lovely one night stay and enjoyed our time there. The staff and host were all very welcoming and attentive to our needs. Dinner and breakfast were great and would highly recommend staying and dining. The room was extremely comfortable and warm and had been freshly renovated. We could have easily stayed here longer.

The room was very comfortable with everything we needed. It was clean and well maintained. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast and the food on offer was delicious. It’s a very popular pub so advisable to book a table for dinner. Very convenient for exploring North Yorkshire. We would stay again.

Property was well situated for where we needed to be, staff were very helpful and friendly and the chalets were clean and tidy

Third time we have stayed here which ought to say something. Very convenient for the A1 and the rooms are pleasant, clean and comfortable. As well as that the restaurant serve very good food at reasonable prices, as it was our final night of our holiday in Scotland and we were travelling home it was very welcome. Parking is convenient and close - just outside rooms.

Stayed for one night. Room was very confortable. Also ate at the pub for dinner, absolutely fantastic food which was also as good. Lovely area close to Thirsk, overall couldn’t fault it. Would happily go back.

Spotless and tidy cottage-style room, friendly staff welcoming

This is a lovely place! The room was spacious and clean, the food excellent and cooked to order. I asked to stay an extra night but they were booked up. Not the best location if you’re relying on public transportation.

Great little place! Would have loved to spent time in the pub, but our visit was for a wedding so missed out. Lovely room, staff and breakfast!

So easy to find, large carpark, comfy beds, professional and friendly staff. Great breakfast choice. Good value for money and dogs welcome. Would quite happily stay there again.

I only stayed for one night but the location was perfect and easy to find. The room was clean and had everything I needed. I ate next door and the food was lovely. I would definitely use this hotel again.

The hotel was fabulous no complaints

Cant fault this place apart from the full breakfast coming without beans, but this was soon rectified. A vegan breakfast with oat milk was provided no problem.
