There were a few “ sketchy” noisy guests

There were drug addicts wandering through the lobby clearly high in something while i was trying to check in. The lobby smelled like a public restroom that had not been cleaned well in a while. The whole hotel smelled like a dirty wet dog and thats coming from someone traveling with animals looking for pet friendly accommodations. It was disgusting. My room was not what i reserved and the guy at the front desk was a bit confrontational about it. Was just happy to get a refund. Went to the Flow Ft. Lauderdale. 1000 times nicer.

Cleanliness - All the hallway carpet is stained and dirty, dingy, discolored and disgusting. Rooms were surprisingly decent. I only saw one roach. Comfort- Beds were not comfortable and the pillows were flat, not soft nor fluffy just flat. I had to fold mine in half to try and make it better. Service - Young man at the check in (evening) was polite and attentive. The half bald Indian looking man was rude. I had booked parking while we were on our cruise and I called the hotel prior to booking. The hotel said it was fine to book the parking for another Super 8 but park at this Motel 6. When I asked about the parking the man up front was rude and told me to park someone else it is not for here. As a business owner, never have I ever spoke to one of my customer like that and probably never will. Every single hallway reeks of pot. I am not from Florida and I do not know the state laws or if it is even legal but that smell was very overwhelming and pungent. It was quite disgusting. If I come back to this area I will not book this hotel. Not sure how it has received such high reviews. Maybe if the clean up the halls, steam clean the carpets, get rid of the roaches and be more polite…. Then yes the reviews will be in line.

The bed sheets were clean but you could still see stains. The bed frame underneath was filthy. Kids running around knocking on doors, yes mine as well, then pulled the fire alarm. Wont stay again.

I enjoyed staying inside my place, but going out it was sometimes edgy . Lots of people who obviously aren’t doing anything good.

This place does not look like other Motel 6 I have been. This place is more clean. The bathroom was like being at a more expensive hotel.

Lets be clear it is a motel 6 so I think it is OK for what it is BUT the photos and what they have renovated is pure make up. Everything is old, the part of carpet (especially the stairs smell very strong and bad), my water on the shower would not go down the drain, but like I said.. for a motel 6 sometimes we expect way worse so it was ok.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE DO NOT STAY HERE. Extremely unsafe so many weirdos walking around. Place smelled like cigarettes. Then when we walked down the hall to our room trash was everywhere and when we opened our door there was stains all over the bed sheet. Then all night there was banging noises and stuff going on upstairs we didn’t sleep once all night. We ended up leaving the next morning. I felt so uneasy and I understand you get what you get with a motel 6 but still this can’t be it !
