Spent a lovely night at The Talbot, beautiful characterful building, massive comfy bed and a delicious breakfast! I would definitely come again!

Staff were lovely, food excellent - all home cooked. Room was faultless.

Fantastic stay, real homely feel and brilliant staff. Ate in restaurant/lounge and all was fantastic. Every person across licensee and staff were excellent. They don't force their hospitality they treat you as a friend. I had thought I lost my watch and they found it after I checked out, it has great sentimental value to me so I am eternally grateful. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay if in the area again.

Comfy beds, spacious room, lovely breakfast and really friendly staff.

Pay attention to the small print - Expedia stated check in was 2pm, however in the small print on one of the emails it stated the pub didn’t open till 4pm that day.

The room beds were smaller than a single bed. The pillows were very thin and over used. Both of us rolled out of bed and hurt ourselves. It was noisy on the landing literally hearing everyone until all hours in the morning. Then shouting and an animal running up and down the hallway. It wasn't a great sleep.

Room clean. Recently upgraded. Fab ensuite. Breakfast amazing.

Initial thoughts were very good.. All appeared very clean with plenty of room in thr room and appearance of being recently refurbished. Tbe big let down was a stained duvet cover on one of the beds.. This really isn't acceptable. Not complaint was made, we just turned it over snd around so not in contact..
