An absolutely amazing stay in a brilliant location. A perfect base for a short break, where we enjoyed visits to Bracknell, Stone Henge, Chessington World of Adventures and a lovely visit to nearby Winchester city centre to take in a bit of history and enjoy some fantastic restaurants. We stayed as a family of four with our two young boys. The accomodation was spacious with all the facilities you need for a home away from home. The hot tub was maintained every day, making it convenient for a quick dip any time we wanted. The putting green was great fun for the whole family. Modern Smart TV with ability to cast and stream our personal streaming services, and dedicated WiFi for the lodge. Best UK stay we've had. We'll definitely be back again.

Good, generally comfortable accommodation, beautifully kept site, great weather. Only negative was appallingly selfish after hours behaviour by a number of families staying there together, who partied loudly into the early hours both weekend nights, which kept us awake each time. The site team were very apologetic but there was no evidence of Security management after 10 pm which might have quelled the riot.

A beautiful lodge set in a peaceful setting. Very clean, spacious and had everything we needed. We requested bed guards in the lodge and they were there on arrival. Would definitely stay again.

Very clean, great facilities, hassle free check in and out, peaceful location, great for exploring Winchester and surrounding area.

Cabins are spaced a good distance from each other . Lovely and quiet. We have been going there for years but feel the cabins could do with updating. E g. We stayed in lodge 8 nine years ago and it had the same cushions and curtains and leather sofa. These are looking very faded. The electric log fire in the lounge wasn’t working. Despite this I would still go again because it’s so peaceful

Excellent lodges

This is the third week that I have stayed. Customer service is poor, there is no can do attitude. For the final week we were in lodge 2, this is tired. Seal loose in the oven, neither toilet fixed to the floor, shower mouldy at the bottom. Plus on Tuesday most of a pleasant day of weather spoilt with loud strimming.

20 excellent lodges next to the golf course. We were in lodge 10. The only negative is that lodges 10 and 11 are next to a fairly busy route to the management office. You can walk to the city centre in 50 minutes and Waitrose in 45, both walks safe and pleasant

Amazing property! Very clean, tidy, fresh and new. We really loved the sofas and jacuzzi. The bed in the large room was not king size, but simply 2 double size mattresses - It wasn't comfortable.

Could do with a few more flute glasses as only 5 in a 6 person property, but that is being really picky. Lodge was spacious, clean, fresh and in a lovely quiet setting. Would highly recommend

Pleasant stay in a lodge. Quite surroundings with lodges around a central putting green. Well maintained. We enjoyed our visit.

Great location and lovely surroundings. Good size lodge. The bathrooms were poor. En suite was damp and the smell was very bad after a couple of days using the shower. Both bathrooms need updating and the damp problem sorted out. Bed linen also a little musty smelling.

From start to finish had a superb stay. Can’t fault the lodge, quiet & relaxing. Hot tub checked daily. Will be making a return visit & telling friends & family about it.

Really relaxing stay, peaceful setting on golf course. Lodge was clean and well stocked with all the kitchen equipment you could need. We had a jacuzzi lodge and the jacuzzi was clean and the water temperature perfect. Clean soft white fluffy towels and clean comfortable beds. All in all a lovely holiday. Would recommend south Winchester lodges.
