Property was just off the interstate so that was nice. Balcony off of the downstairs breakfast room was beautiful. Couch in room was severly worn and outdated. Was the same last time I stayed here. Looked so bad I avoided sitting on it. There was a few hairs by the toilet. But everything else was good.

It was good. But. A little overpriced for the money.

Stay here before and it's by go to place in Central Iowa. Great staff and great pricing

Overall a good one night stay. The loveseat in our room needs to be reupholstered or replaced, and the bathroom sink drain was very slow. Wonderful and sincere staff. Room 306

A clean hotel and friendly service. Easy to friends in Newton and close to graduation at Drake University

Just a heads up, the toilets are low in the regular room so if you need a higher toilet be sure to get a handicap accessible room.

Couches were ratty and worn down. Cold water for my shower before bed kept me awake into the wee hours of the morning. Light was streaming in from the bright gas station lights right outside my window. The bed sunk down in the middle and gave me a backache. Breakfast (and it was a busy Saturday) was gross looking eggs only and tons of carb options. No sausage or bacon, no breakfast potatoes. No one knew what they were doing upon checkout. Stood there for close to ten minutes while two poor souls tried to figure it out. I finally left my name and contact information and asked for some kind of discount. I paid way too much money for the poor experience. I received a phone call with a disrespectful offer of 30.00 off and asked if that would satisfy me. How insulting. I would never stay at another Cobblestone. I should have been reimbursed at least 50% or more.

It was a very nice stay. The whole staff was great, especially Trista! Room was quiet and the amenities were just right.

Staff was friendly, the room was clean. the chairs are showing wear.

There was no hot water for the showers the first night or the next morning.

Great room, great view room 301. Super nice staff. Comfortable bed. Newton is a very nice location.

Only suggestions: shower head needed updating no safety handles for shower or near to toilet

This place is clean and comfortable with good rates. If you're looking for a clean place on a budget you can't beat Cobblestone inn in Newton Iowa.

The furniture was worn out and need reapporsary or replacement.

Staff very helpful. Room and bathroom very large. Nice comfy bed. Great coffee! Nice view from the room. Good amenities!
