Absolutely incredible stay with my wife recently. We had a deluxe sea view villa and the views were jaw dropping. Clean, spacious and so comfortable. The view from the bar and pool area are just magnificent. Hotel food was amazing and a very special mention for the staff and in particular, the Italian Resort Manager. Friendly and a magnificent host! Hotel is around 25 mins from main Sala Ferry Port and there are a lot of amazing bars and restaurants within 15 mins walk of the resort. Thank you guys for an absolutely amazing stay!

Beautiful boutique resort with beach access, beautiful pool and excellent restaurant. The room had amazing views and our stay was beyond expectations. Ideal for couples.

The resort is located on top of the hill road in the nicer part of the island (away from the Full Moon party scene), close to amazing restaurants and shops, 20 minutes away from Thong Sala (CBD) and Baan Tai with motorbike. We stayed for 16 nights and we had a great experience with the friendly staff and service. The rooms are very clean and beautifully decorated. We stayed in 3 different rooms throughout our stay, from the two Beach View rooms (the most beautiful view of the ocean and scenery), to Garden View room and all rooms are fairly priced. There is a yoga retreat next door with good classes throughout the day and if you're staying at the beach view rooms, you could enjoy the sound of handpan and other instruments people play there. Overall it was a marvelous experience and special thanks to Manuel the resort manager and Le his assistant for making our trip more fun.

Top class hotel in great location with lovely rooms and lovely bar and pool

Most of the staff were lovely and the hotel was in a lovely location. The rooms were clean and spacious albeit a bit basic and old fashioned.

Pros - stunning view of the sea - pool - well taken care of resort. Looks beautiful - friendly staff - honeymoon decoration on our bed Cons - was glutened at their restaurant. Unfortunately they don’t know how to read thai so even a celiac card in thai is useless. Avoid noodle dishes/ dishes normally prepared with soy/oyster etc. - breakfast was way too oily. We did ask for less oil our last day and they happily obliged. - pool needs a bit of repair but is very nice nonetheless - room is nice but unfortunately ours was located just above the main pathway so we could hear more noiss than most of the other rooms. View is worth it though! - location is tough unless you have a bike.

Beautiful, small, intimate complex in quiet part of the island with no reference to Full/Half Moon!!! Italian owners and management so Thai and Italian food (prefer more Thai)...right in beach but lots of steps of not very mobile...great stay, special thanks to all restaaurant staff...Oh yeah, great breakfast!!

Had a great stay at Beyond the Blue. This is a smaller 9 villa hotel so expect great customer service, delicious breakfast made to order every morning, and a nice private feel. The rooms were super clean, food was great, and the staff helped out coordinating our cabs to the pier for our trip out. Would absolutely stay again.

Amazing place! Staff were very friendly and helpful with anything we needed. The food at the restaraunt was amazing! We ended up eating almost every meal there because the menu was extensive and everything we ordered was outstanding. I would highly recommend this resort!

Small boutique hotel, beutiful, peacefull, tidy at all times, great pool, beach, and small lobby/restaurant, great atmosphere, good food, great and exceptionally plesant rooms, great service by very a pleasant staff who wait upon you at all times. One caveat for some: The hotel rooms are spread on a steep slope going down to the beach, which grants front sea view for most rooms, but on rhe flip side, implies a steep and inconsistently spaced stairs between the access road, the rooms and the beach. No elevator. The staff will take your suitcases up and down, but elderly or disabled people may be challenged.

Amazing staff, amazing view, amazing place! Food is really good and not too expensive, but there are restaurants nearby. If you can book one of the two rooms next to the pool, the view is... perfect. :) (The other rooms have partial sea view, which is not bad either.)

Wonderful accommodation with stunning views and very welcoming hosts. The resort is ideally located for exploring beaches in the nort or closer to the accommodation. There are a number of nice restaurants nearby or unwind and taste the good food and cocktails at the resort.

We were staying for our honeymoon, expecting a romantic experience. This unfortunately was not the place. The staff was friendly, but seems to be under new management. There was no acknowledgement of us being there besides check in. Many places nearby had free shuttles to and from the pier, this did not. You are very close to your neighbors, aka no privacy. They can see you from their balcony's through the bathroom window if you are not careful. Just not the comfort and privacy we were hoping for at the price we paid - very overpriced. The pool is quite small, and there is no beach. You can go next door or down the way. The made to order breakfast was ok - DO NOT order the Fitness Breakfast - you get like 2 pieces of lettuce for your "salad" plus 2 pumpkin seeds. I would recommend staying at the places near there, which were much less expensive, on the beach and had free transport. I would not recommend this place to people in the future unless they planned on staying in the room the whole time watching the 3 of 4 working tv channels and walking up and down the stairs anytime they wanted something to eat because there is no phone in the room to get room service. None of the toiletries were ever refilled even after asking so, bring your own. The staff again were great, but they were clearly mismanaged and the price is definitely NOT worth the stay.

Small hotel with 8 bungalows - charming, wonderful staff, nice breakfast menu, pretty pool, free kayak use, nice room, many restaurants in walking distance

The best resort we stayed at in our recent Thailand trip. Lisa and staff were so friendly and helpful we did not want to leave. The restaurant's food was amazing. We will definitely be back. P/S: our favourite moment was sipping on our beer in the pool while watching the most amazing sunset on the island!
