Note - check in hotel is near train station. This is a 10 minute walk; no cars. Was two rooms, beds in both, two bathrooms. Clean and blocks from all the stuff!

Such a luxury property! Great stay with nice bathroom, two rooms, very clean. The kitchen was nice looking but no toaster, or kettle. Even so, you will find the hotel one of the best in the world.

Excellent hotel!! It’s such an amazing property that was bright, luxurious, modern and at a great location. Since the photos and reviews were not very good, we didn’t expect much. What a great surprise! We enjoyed staying there so much, we postponed our trip to Rome to stay one day longer. Everything was nice but the kitchen stove was not working completely. There was no kettle to boil water. However, you will enjoy everything else and never forget the experience!

Room had a very poorly equipped kitchenette. No corkscrew (! And staff refused to provide one even after agreeing to do so if we returned to the hotel used for check in which we did), very limited and worn out utensils, no dishwashing sponges or soap, no salt or pepper, no kettle. This is no suitable for anyone expecting to take some meals in the room. There is a had to find washing machine (2) in the basement but no dryer.. just three small clothes lines.

Be warned that the check-in is not at the residence. This was not communicated well. The free wifi requires a password, but this is not written anywhere in the accommodation. Communication is poor. The room was ok, and the location was good. However, I will not return to this accommodation. There are many better places in Parma.

I rented a 4 room apt at this location and was completely satisfied. Very clean except the shower had some mold.Kitchen had dishes and utensles for 4 people, including a cheese grater and corkscrew. I had a king size bed and also a foldout sofa in the dining/living room. very quiet street in the center of town. Very walkable. This apt had an elevator but I still had to navigate 12 steps to get to it. I use a walker. Very nice views of a park and an old church. Free concerts nightly at house of music about 500 yards away. awesome. This is a light tourist area and very safe to walk around even in the evening. Make sure you read the check in instructions as you check in at a different location. Shuttle provided to the apt with advance notice.

You can ask for shuttle to drop you off at the Residence after you check in at Novotel by the train station. Not when you check out. But, the walk with luggage was about 15 min, it was not bad. The facility is old. No question about that. It was well maintained. We did not have any problem. There are some stairs you must climb before you can reach an elevator. And the elevator is small, 4 people is probably the maximum it would fit. There is a facility person and two vending machines on site, not much else. However, you probably can get everything you need within 10 to15 min walk. For other help, such as calling a taxi, you can dial 9 on the phone in the room, (yes they still have landline) to ask the operator at Novotel to call it for you. It is a nice quiet place for a short stay.

The “Parent” hotel, Novotel was beautiful, modern and nice. The residence experience of staying in apartment, wasn’t great, but it was ok. The art on the wall was a bit distasteful, and a bit inappropriate?? The decor/furnishings are older and antique but clean a comfortable. There was no coffee, and I suppose that was because it was an apartment not a hotel room. But the staff were amazing, and Parma was great to explore and the location made it easy to enjoy all the Parma has to offer.

Read the description well before booking. Because we knew what to expect (mostly). Good, quiet location crossed from a small park. We really liked the kitchenette and small table and chairs. Good size room for Italy. The only problems we had were that the room phones didn’t work and the morning reception desk at Novotel didn’t respond to our WhatsApp messages. It was pouring rain the morning we had to checkout. Because we had to check out at the other hotel and didn’t know how to schedule a taxi we were soaked from walking to checkout.

We were so disappointed that we didn't stay at the hotel. We were only supposed to stay one night because we were on a road trip heading home. We booked it because it was located in the center of town. But when we arrived after a long day driving we found the building locked with a small sign on it saying that we had to go to the Novotel Parma to check in, which was over a mile away and an extra ten minutes in the car due to the way the one way streets work. We called that hotel and they told us that you had to check in and park your car there and then they would bring you in a shuttle to the Residence Liberty. No where on the hotels.com website or app did it say we would be faced with such an inconvenience. Of I had known that I would have never chosen that hotel for just one night. We ended up asking the Novotel to give is rooms there instead to make it easier on us. Bit I had to pay a lot of extra money to do so.

Good location and very nice room but no reception so I had to deal with the mostly untrained staff in Novohotel whom give preference to their guests. Thanks to the ignorance of one of them aimwas not able to stay two more nights in a different property part of the group

A lovely little apartment that had everything I needed. It didn't cost much more than a normal hotel room, but the kitchen saved me more than the extra cost.

Good stay. We were not aware that the check in was elsewhere and that was inconvenient. Also, our room had a really strong smell of food when we arrived but to make a change we had to walk back to where the check in was done, so we stayed there. Location is good.

I would characterize this as more of an air b & b experience rather than a hotel. We had to walk two blocks to another hotel to check in and out, there was no daily cleaning of any type (no beds made, no towels exchanged) and if we wanted to use the little kitchen area there was a note that we’d be charged 20 euros for it to be cleaned. All that being said, we probably would have still chosen to stay here as it was very affordable and a decent location. I just wish this info was disclosed beforehand as we would have come better prepared (like bring more toilet paper!).

Arrived to the hotel and there was no one there to help with check in. Just a sign saying needed to go to another hotel to get the room key. That hotel says permanently closed. Found the replacement hotel which had no parking at to stop and check in. Was finally given the room key to head back to the originally booked hotel. Arrived in the room and the heating was left on full blast and a running tap in the bathroom. When checking out the person at reception wasn’t very helpful and didn’t offer any assistance with who to contact. It is a well placed hotel but there is absolutely no information about what to do upon check in and out or help offered. Rooms also need updating.
