There was no hot water... way too cold to take a shower at 8am. Hotel said maybe the pilot light burned out, but they didn't offer to relight the water heater. There was no coffee in the restaurant. Room with balcony we booked had no balcony so they offered us an upgrade for 400 pesos for a room that I had already paid for. Very noisy hotel with paper thin doors. Seriously disappointing.

Quick check-out. Clean. Quiet. It's located in the middle of a street of small swap-meet vending sector.

My mother and I stayed at the hotel Esmeralda for a week. It was the best experience I have had in a hotel. The staff was beyond friendly, welcoming, and very hospitable. The hotel offers breakfast, delicious by the way, and they alwo have the tours available. My mother and I plan on visiting again and we are definitely staying there again. Also, the hotel is very close to downtown Tuxtla. We only walked a couple blocks to the Parque la Marimba, we were close to many restaurants, and close to the Mercado where they also serve delicious and inexpensive food as well.

Good for the price

We were warmly greeted when we arrived. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We left the hotel shortly after that to check out the Mirimba park but just missed it as it was nine pm. The twelve block walk was totally safe at night. The hotel is old so you can hear everything, but by eleven the people in the hotel were quiet so we slept fine. The only complaint I have was the free breakfast. They had nuked all the food and put out a cold pitcher of coffee and the juice was artificial. So, enjoy this hotel for the price that it is and go get breakfast else where.

I could not walk into even to take a look, hotel is in a very very bad neighborhood, is in the middle of a public market between butcher and chicken shops, the kind of those ones open wide to the public with the raw chickens hanging on in the street, I could not walk in even

Hotel has free underground parking, looks nice from the outside and inside but room had a slight fouled water odor. At 6am we got up early to shower only to find out our room had no water. We asked the staff as to what was the problem and they didn't know. They gave us another room but that room had no water either. We left without showering or flushing the toilet because we couldn't wait until they resolved the issue. When we got back, water was restored. The manager or anyone else never followed up on our issue.

I got in about 1 am and the flush in the bathroom wasn't working. So had to go and get the guy to fix it who spent around 10 minutes getting it done. Then there was no hot water and so had to have a cold shower to get my flight very early in the morning. Wasn't at all pleased with the hotel.

Buenos

Habitaciones con cucarachas, baño pequeño e incomodo, habitación sin ventilación y oscura. No hay buena recepción de Internet, No agarra la señal para hablar, menos para trabajar por computadora etc. etc. Según es con desayuno americano y eso no es cierto.

Un lugar limpio agradable bien ubicado

En general bueno por el precio, pero el desayuno incluído no era bueno, pero es acorde a la tarifa

Mi mamá y hermana fueron por dos días, la ubicación es en pleno centro de Tuxtla, muy fácil moverse a todos lados. Los colchones nuevos y muy cómodos, las habitaciones ser notan remodeladas o con muy buen mantenimiento. Por fuera se ve algo sencillo, por dentro está muy bien, recomendado.

Pues para mi en lo particular, me parecio un buen servicio, en lo que cabe fue excelente el hospedaje, la verdad lo recomiendo.
