Staff are lovely, and the grounds are fantastic for kids, although at night the paths are quite dark.

This place was fantastic! we had a three bedroom villa with a sauna and it was huge and very clean on arrival. everything you could need inside. We didn't use the facilities in the hotel so son idea what they were like but I would 100% recommend the villas.

Bed was quite short. Tv sticking into headroom if using coffee making facilities. Bed linen did not cover the mattress at one side. Modern enough room with lovely bathroom. Overall just lacking. No way would you think you were staying in a castle. More like a motel door opens outwards onto courtyard.

Feel that the bedroom area should be upgraded, bathroom has been upgraded and was very nice. No lounge area to relax after dinner. Disjointed feel as reception was next to pool area, separate to castle bedrooms, and breakfast/dinner was in a separate building.

Didn’t have breakfast as the lodge was self catering . There was access to the pool, gym, sports equipment. The lodge was lovely, warm , clean and had plenty of everything .

Rooms were excellent. Absolutely spotless. Food outstanding. Dinner and Breakfast were fabulous. Plenty choice, quick to serve and lovely and warm. Staff were amazing. Very tentative. Gentlemen serving breakfast was lovely. Only downside is that after dinner there is no lounge to chill and have a wine/beer. Had to sit in the Bistro which is perfect for eating but not for chilling. Sad seeing that it's such a beautiful building.

Beautiful setting. There was a slight mix up with our room but staff were very helpful and upgraded us with no extra charge. Setting was beautiful and breakfast excellent with lots of choice.

Lovely stay at Kilconquhar. Very pet friendly with super open areas to exercise your dogs. Lovely staff, with particular praise to the bistro staff who were all an absolute delight. Excellent breakfasts and lovely meals in the evening. Sorry we couldn't have stayed longer. Next time.

This was our first visit to Kilconquhar Castle Estate and it was a lovely break away. Bedroom (17) was clean, modern and spacious. Staff at breakfast time, afternoon and evening were very efficient and friendly, nothing too much trouble. We used the swimming pool and sauna which were super. Our only criticism was the bed was too small (kingsize would have been more comfortable) and the duvet too heavy. We were also unable to open the window (keep it open overnight) for some reason. We will definitely return.
