Our first trip to Gijon and the hotel was a perfect location. Nice restaurants nearby, stores, everything you need. The breakfast was excellent and view overlooking the beach was a great way to start the day. Staff was very helpful, rang us cabs in seconds and answered all our questions. Room was comfortable, shower hot, it was nice to open the window for fresh air. Not a single complaint.

Comfortable hotel with a spacious suite corner room. Great view of sea. Good value for the cost. Bathroom is spacious and shower worked well. Excellent location to the corniche along the water and to restaurants and cafes in the central part of the town. Would stay again. Parking is around the corner from the hotel although we got lucky with a parking spot directly outside the hotel. Only had to pay up to 8 PM in eve and after 9 AM in morning. Friendly staff. Our rate included breakfast and it was a good basic continental breakfast.

The property was directly in front of the beach and in the centre of town which was excellent. Facilities wise it was quite basic, but clean and ideal for exploring the city.

Pity no hotel restaurant or bar was open - but not a problem since there are more of both than you can wave a stick at in Gijon and all within walking distance and of reasonable price and quality.

Nice location close to the beach and bars around

Great Hotel, I’ve stayed here numerous time, this was the only time I did not get a view of the ocean, and my neighbours from upstairs were super noisy. Location is second to none, staff is fab and parking for 24 hrs is right behind the hotel for 15€/day. There’s breakfast available on site for a few but there’s so many great places to it, I opted not to try it. Staff is helpful and very profesional.

Great place to stay in Gijon, great view, good breakfast, no AC. Very clean and perfect for going for a walk in front of the beach in Gijon.

Close to everything and love the views

I always stay at this great beachfront hotel. It's modern, clean and comfortable and the location is perfect. The sound of the crashing surf is a great relaxant.

We paid extra for a room with view (beach) well those room do not have AC. I ask for a fan and I had to picked up downstairs. Its not close to the center and we have to open the windows and its very noise.

The location was excellent to walk to the beach and places to eat. Staff was friendly and helpful.

El hotel muy lindo, con unas Vista Bellas de las ciudad, perfecta para la familia, la habitación familiar bien grande y cómodo, mi único consejo es que tienen que hacerle un update al baño que está un poco viejo, los de la recepción súper amables muy lindo todo

We always stay at this great hotel. It’s very clean and stylishly furnished, very minimal and ‘scandi’. The beds are super comfortable with really soft bedding. The best part though, is leaving the window open at night and drifting off to sleep with the sound of the crashing waves on the beach a few metres away.

We stayed a few days at The Principe de Asturias so that we could allow more careful distancing when visiting family safely over Christmas. It was a perfect place to stay, we were upgraded to a pristine suite with a spectacular view of the huge beach in gijon. You really can't beat sleeping to the sound of the Atlantic surf... The hotel and all its staff had gone above and beyond to make us feel safe and everywhere was absolutely pristine.

Good hotel in fantastic location. Very happy with their handling of the COVID situation. Will be back
