When we first arrived we thought the area a bit sketchy. There is security on the front door and a buzzer for service. Alisa was very helpful and friendly and was very kind helping us settle in. The suite was very comfortable with separate bed and sitting areas. We indulged in the breakfast/snack table and fridge. This was an excellent stay. When next we travel to Timmins we will be staying at this property if avaliable.

The staff was very helpful, the breakfast area was well stocked and everything needed was there. I loved the living room area of my room, and the common room was amazing with a pool table and library/ reading area to hang out.

Everything you need and the fridge and coffee and snacks available 24hrs were great. Comfortable bed and very clean

The location is very central. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were aware of all of the services provided with the room and ensure we got settled in. The rooms are great. We’ve stayed here 3x in the past year and we have never been disappointed. The suites are set up very conveniently. There is a television set up in the living area with a very comfortable sofa. The bedroom is behind a closing set of French doors and it has its own television. The complement breakfast area is open 24/7 which is fabulous as it accommodates your needs rather than their convenience. Very clean. We highly recommend.

Rooms nice and clean .. location is not great….no real breakfast but plenty of food…coffee machine did not work vey well…couldn’t get any coffee this morning….staff was not on location and had to wait to check in….smokers sitting at front door when checking out this morning…it was ok but not as expected at

We found Balsam Suites to be clean, comfortable and well appointed. The staff were very friendly. We would definitely stay there again.

Love this place!

This was our second time staying here. We liked the place so much the first time that we booked it again, when we had to come back to Timmins. It will continue to be the place we stay. Very clean and quiet. Staff are great too. 100% recommend this place if you’re ever in Timmins.

Would of been nice to have a nice hot breakfast. But can't ask for anything else, The lady at the front desk, was very polite, friendly and very helpful. I will stay there again.

Locked access Couldn't access the building. Buzzed to enter a lady couldn’t let us in as she said she wasn’t even in the building. No parking for a truck The parking in rear no room for a truck Full of snow. No windows. Didn’t even look like a motel Looks like an abandoned building. Don’t let the pictures on the internet fool you. Who ever put the reviews must of got paid to put those in. Reviews DO NOT reflect the motel. I felt-we should have gotten a full refund as this place looked run down. Totally not what we had expected. Very disappointed. We were forced to go elsewhere to find a room. I would rate this place a zero Beware of this place as most reviews are way over rated. We'll never recommend to anyone. Not a safe area and very dirty

The room was clean and quiet. Enjoyed my stay for 1 night.

Place is nice clean and spacious. Parking was a pain due to a huge snowfall. I was pulling a trailer and due to the location of the hotel made it difficult to park.
